Imo what I think the stars could have been. Not great by any means, but I still consider this better than the Rahkshi we have this winter. So anyways, onto the MOC.

I removed the neck balljoint from a gray photok torso and went from there. I didn't plan on removing it, but in order to get the head on, it had to done. Articulation is fairly good, much better than the current Rahkshi that is beginning to appear. He has ball jont shoulders, wrists, neck(at two points), hips, knees, and feet. His spine, being a Gadunka Tooth component, allows for great head articulation. I found it hard to move the neck on the Yelow Rahkshi, and it feels like there will soon be stress marks(if not breakage). I might try to make the spine mesh into the head, but it doesn't look as protruding as it does in the pics on top of the head.

Here are a few pics.

Here is the area I removed for clearence using a Dremel. I would try to cover up the stressed spot where the plastic was removed, but the spine covers it, so I don't consider it an issue.

And something new I will have in my Bionicle MOC reviews, size comparisons. Here we have him with a prototype green toa MOC, Halo TRU Exclusive Mongoose Spartan, GI Joe RoC 'The Doctor', and Transformers Deluxe Bumblebee.

I know I have been of absence here lately, but I am going to try to be on as much as I can now.

Very nice MOC, it is around here for a while but nobody commented yet, strange, since it's very cool. However, bended, the legs look amazing, but standing tall, they are too long. And his "Spine" is connected in a strange looking way, but I would've done it the same. ^^

That's an amazing Rahkshi MOC - I loved the first ones when they came out because they had the very first bended knees. The flexible spine is an ingenious substitute for the rigid spikes of the orginals, and those feet and legs look great! The Av-Matoran torso was a good choice, too.

Also, welcome to EB, RedStar!

Thanks guys, and welcome RedStar.

Just thought I'd give a few additional notes,

-The head isn't restricted by the spine, it can move very well

-The 2-Axle in his left hand is to hold the other end of the weapon(through the hole of the staff.)

-The reason for the Mahri tubing is because this Star has no Kraata, and runs on pure shadow fuel.

And here is a requested pic with a (slightly modded) rahkshi from 2003[Looks like Prime and a Wip Master Borohk deceided to join in the fun as well...]

To make the Star more Movie accurate than his bretheren, The spine also goes all the way down his back, and looks far more menacing, as our Master Borohk can show us;

Enjoy once again, and be on the look out for more Bionicle Classics(the Master borohk and this rahkshi are examples of my upcoming classics)
