Posted November 18, 200915 yr I did a search for this but did not find anything, so here goes: After hearing about the new LEGO sets hitting TRU shelves this weekend, I went to my local store to check it out (last Sunday). When I entered the store I encounted a woman handing out Santa minifig keychains with a coupon attached for $5.00 off any LEGO purchase of $20.00 or more. Turns out TRU is doing this twice this month. Sunday the 15th was the first time; they will also be handing these out this Saturday (Nov. 21). More info here: Free Santa Minifig Keychain
November 18, 200915 yr A very interesting promotion, but I believe this belongs in the Buy, Sell, Trades, Finds forum. I usually don't shop at ToysRUs, but if I'm near one on Saturday, there's a chance I might pop in. Thanks for the heads up.
November 18, 200915 yr Dang, that's a great deal for just walking in the store. Too bad I'm not heading to my local LEGO store that weekend, and by local I mean 300 miles away.

Your are only 300 miles away??? (ca 482 kilometers) I have to go to Germany! This promo sounds great! For those of you who could benefit from it! Edited November 18, 200915 yr by filip skywalker
November 20, 200915 yr They had 4 boxes of these at my local Toys R Us. Each box had about 100 keychains in it. I was able to get about 12 keychains by going in and out of the store over the next few days. The Lego lady would literally give you one every time you walked past her. As of yesterday they still had two boxes left sitting open on the counter in customer service. Im going to pop the keychains off the top, remove the heads, and make robots out of them! Lego Robot Santa Army for the win!
November 20, 200915 yr Yay! Finally, I'll be relatively near a deal. Rather than 400 miles away. Steve
November 21, 200915 yr I got five over the course of 2 days Although I believe today was the last day to get them Definitely worth walking in and out though
November 22, 200915 yr I went, searched the store for about thirty minutes and then waited in line at customer service for 10 minutes and when I finally got to the front the employee told me she had never heard about it Edited November 22, 200915 yr by doctordark

November 22, 200915 yr You could go in and ask if they have any leftover keychains, because it's a fun keychain and free, but the $5.00 coupon expired yesterday.
