lightningtiger Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I took it upon myself to do a bit of redesigning of the 7991 and this is what I have done. Visit My Website on MOC pages A different front bumper arrangement, retrimed the rear section of the truck and directional/reversing lights too. Let me know what you think ? Quote
wooootles Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 To be honest, I'd say it's definitely not much at all A few parts swapped from what I can tell, but it's 99% stock 7991 still. Quote

Sorry, Wooootles I did post MOD. Sadly with Brickshelf playing up I would have post more pictures of the modified rear components. Though I think I might do some 'Pimp My Ride' tricks to my rubbish truck, any ideas or comments ? Anyway thank you , for commenting Wooootles. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I see some small variances, nothing life changing but it's always fun to make a set exactly how you like it. Quote
Milan Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I am going to wait for the full description of this MOD, when BS start uploading again. So far it is a really minor changes, but it is nice! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 Is this better folks ! I have not seen any redesigns or MOC's of trucks using the new 6 wide window have you ? Comments are welcome, thanks. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Oops silly me. I forgot a couple more pic's. Front view of the totally reworked front end. I just made a couple of changes here, better tail lights and sadly you can not see the extra trim to the top of back section which opens up to dump it's load (this picture was taken before the front end remodelling). So it's mainly the front end that is totally different. Comments welcome. Quote
Rick Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Looks like a nice city (as opposed to a highway) truck. The cab could even be lowered further, like on the new firetruck and the city bus. Quote

The cab could even be lowered further, like on the new firetruck and the city bus. Thanks 'Rick' and 'Milan' for the positive feedback. On lowering of the cab, not possible as it would weaken the chassis, but I could use instead of one 2x6 plate, four 2x3 plates for making the front lights/grill/bumper mounting look bigger. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Well I'm back with this vehicle and have changed the front end again. See what you think ? And heres the rear end I was talking about. Comments welcome. Quote
