Etzel Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Only Austria, Germany and Switzerland yet. I find it funny that it is not available in Denmark yet. Denmark usually gets the new sets around the same time as the other Scandinavian countries, and that we get new sets early is very rare (this winters SW sets an exception). Quote
Oky Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet: First final-looking image of the Advent Calendar Edited May 1, 2010 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
ILikePi Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) Navy Trooper Fenson already found a clear picture back in February, Oky Wan. EDIT: Sorry, didn't know that that picture was made out of real LEGO instead of being a drawing! Edited May 2, 2010 by ILikePi Quote

The Penguin Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 let the speculation begin then! ) Is is me or the wizard is having a new hat? It doesn't look like a regular mold to me. As for the rest, I don't really see much difference from the preliminary pic. ) Quote
Oky Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I would go as far as to say it looks exactly the same, except the figs are photographs instead of cartoons. And the hat looks the same to me, it's just the blur and the angle of the pic that makes it look weird. Quote
John31388 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Might be a dumb question but were do you get the calender Quote
jonwil Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Why would a set be available in one country but not another when all deliveries for Shop @ Home to Europe come from the exact same warehouse? Quote
Oky Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Might be a dumb question but were do you get the calender S@H and Lego stores for example, but of course it wont be out until Xmas time. By the way, I don't know if it has been discussed before, but does anyone know if the jester in the impulse has the double sided head from Drawbridge Defense? If not, I guess we'll find out soon enough when the first reviews surface. Quote
fenrir Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Europe (ex UK) has the court Jesterhttp://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...cn=640&d=70 Does anyone know when the sets will be available in the rest of Europe. Quote
Etzel Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Does anyone know when the sets will be available in the rest of Europe. Probably at the end of the month or in early June. Quote
fenrir Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Probably at the end of the month or in early June. That would be realy nice! earlier then I expected Quote
blueandwhite Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 let the speculation begin then! ) Is is me or the wizard is having a new hat? It doesn't look like a regular mold to me. As for the rest, I don't really see much difference from the preliminary pic. ) It's the same old hat. Nicholai posted photos of the Advent Calendar wizard on page 62. In fact, you made comments about him on the next page. His hat even has the same printing as the Good Wizard from the current Castle line. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I was wrong there are actually 3 dragon torsos! The archer in the dragon fortress has a back printing different than any of the other two, and the color of his torso is bley (or dark bley) There is a second minifig with the same color torso in the large castle set, which leads me to believe that it too has that torso. The torso's front has some kind of green neck thing on the top, a chain wrapped from shoulder to side, and a backdrop of chainmail, so I shall call it othermail. In my studies of the pics on fbtb's flickr I also reassured myself on the torso's that I was unsure about (If that sentence makes sense.) In addition, I included the impulses. Here is my amended list; Dragon Knight Torsos; 2 checkered, 3 chainmail, 2 othermail, 1 wizard. Gunmetal helmets; 4 kettle-style, 4 common, 5 bucket w/ plume, (also wizard hat). 2 Dragon armour pieces. Lion Knight Torsos; 6 checkered, 7 belt, 3 lion emblem and mail, 1 king, 1 princess, 1 jester. Shiny helmets; 4 kettle-style, 7 common, 3 bar-over-face-style w/ plume, 2 bucket w/ plume, 1 crown w/ plume (not silver) (also hair and jester hat). 1 knight's armour and 1 king's armour. Tell me if I missed anything. wow I am obsessed with this theme. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
posades Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I don't see the reasoning behind them giving us a blue wizard, wouldn't a red one make more sense? Besides that fact, I'm still going to be picking this one up if the rumors are true of it being released in the US this year. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 So I guess TLG is recycling the dark green/black female peasant and blacksmith. I believe Nicholai showed there is at least a different head on the female peasant, hopefully the blacksmith will have a different/new head. Will be picking up at least 2 of this advent calendar. Quote
Sandy Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 So I guess TLG is recycling the dark green/black female peasant and blacksmith. I think that's a rather nice gesture from TLG, since the two minifigs only come in the MMV-set, which many kids don't have because of it's rarity and price. Quote
