Jack Bricker Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 (edited) Sorry, I am too sleepy these days and I guess I was too confused and distracted by the excaliburs sword;)Sure, angle on the left is not 45, it is cheese. Sorry again. Too bad they put the worst dragon knights' torso in the calendar, the other ones are way more versatile. Not a fan of those chains. I know that this might be slightly off-topic and I might be repeating somebody else but, I did talk to the store manager at my local official Lego store and he said that all minifigures, whether in a magnet set, battle pack or otherwise are made right in denmark. They just change the printing a little bit but, they are still made in Denmark. I just wanted to mention this because I have seen a lot of people worrying over this and I would like to set them at ease. Back on topic. I am really excited about this new castle line. The minifigures are awsome and I really cannot wait to get the calandar set. I have not purchased calandar sets in the past because I haven't been impressed with the minifigs enough but, this time I think that I will have to make an exception. blueandwhite Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Thanks Gorgall The Dragon battle pack is incredible. Two of the new bucket helmets, a breast plate and all three torso types! The Lion Knights get an extra shield, but in turn they lose the breastplate and are forced to wear leftover helmets from the Castle line instead of having any bucket helmets. Even in those promotional photos the Lion Knights look a bit pink . Despite the shortcomings, I hope these are priced well as I would like to pick up a good number of Dragon Knights. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Just got Knights Showdown and Prison Carriage. I don't mind the pink printing though. Quote
Oky Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Hello there, Castle fans! Just thought I'd let you know that I found all the kingdoms sets at the Lego Store in Downtown Disney here! That includes impulses, Battle Packs, and keychains (Jester and Princess). So you might want to check your local store! I got the two impulses and they're pretty neat. Might even do a review on them. OWK out! Quote

metalandi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Such a pity us europeans have to wait until august till they come out. Well i'm short on money right now anyway, but hopefully they'll upload the instructions soon so i can study them in the meanwhile Quote
Bionerd43 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Well what are we waiting for STORM THE CASTLE!! I have to get some of these sets... Quote
josykay Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) I just found those two other small Kingdom-Sets: and Can anyone tell me, how to get them? I can not find them in any catalog... Edited May 25, 2010 by josykay Quote
metalandi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 This is kinda old news, they are promotional sets. I just know that a dealer on bricklink had a few of the battle wagon sets a few months back, and i bought one then. I don't know wether you also can get them directly at shops or not. Quote
josykay Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Thanks for the information. I checked Bricklink and Ebay, but there were only some battle wagons. No X-bow men at all... Quote
metalandi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Yeah, i haven't found that set anywhere either, just the one with the wagon. Let's hope it shows up somewhere soon, cause i really love it Quote

That's in Europe, right? Quote
metalandi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Really? Well, Hamburg isn't quite next to em unfortunately I wonder if the sets are only available at lego shops yet, or at normal ones as toys'r'us too? I thought i read somewhere they won't be released before august in europe. Quote

I wasn't there myself, but the person who brought me the sets said that all the sets seem to be available there. Quote
metalandi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 That's interesting. Gotta check at my nearest TRU store sometime the next days if they have them too, and if not ask them when they'll get them. Too bad there is no lego store even close to where i live. Quote

josykay Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) I asked a employee of a store, who said, that the Kingdom sets will be released at the beginnig/mid of june. Maybe Lego-Stores and Mail Order stores got the sets a little bit earlier then regional stores and shops like Toys´r´us. Edited May 25, 2010 by josykay Quote
squiz Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 found a website in the Uk that said they would have the kingdoms sets on the 3rd of June. Quote
metalandi Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 That's good news. So the release date seems to be august, for europe too. Now i just need to decide which bank to rob to afford all the sets Quote
KristofBD Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Most online stores seem to start selling and shipping from the first of June onwards. Here in the Netherlands the online stores are incredably cheap. Found one that sells the castle for 79 euro instead of the advised 99 euros. Quote
