fenrir Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 102c Officer Yellowbrick is home after years of fighting pirates. He still doesn't know what's more dangerous. Being chaised by Pirates.......or his wife. And some pictures of the Officers home. Quote
Ratshot Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) Nice entry, there's lots of details. I"d rather be chased by pirates then a woman Good Luck Edited November 28, 2009 by Ratshot Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I"d rather be chased by pirates then a woman Not me! Great entry though. You really put a lot of effort and thought into it and it shows. Good luck. Quote
badboytje88 Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Whaha this creation is so very lovely! The only thing I could suggest improving is the colors of the MOC. The building is very dark so I would light it up with some light furniture if I were you since the furniture you used now is very dark too (brown and black). The last thing would suggest you could change is the candles. I personally don't like them. Here are some awesome pics with very very nice candles: http://www.flickr.com/photos/newright/3409686321/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/agent_oo7/3396644276/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/3471239335/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/27444109@N04/2934277667/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/38446022@N00/4123142418/ Good luck in the competition! ~Bart Quote
MetroiD Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 It would have probably been useful if you'd provided a link to your flickr photostream, so that we could see those pics in detail. The ones you've posted here are unfortunately downsized to such an extent that I can't really make out most of the details It looks like a great entry, and the subtle (riiiight) hint that wives can be much more scary than actual pirates is presented quite nicely. I was almost sure she'd be holding a rolling-pin in her left hand - I'm even surprised to see it's missing :D I'd be happy to provide some more feedback, but I can't really do that before seeing the actual details...
