Cedric the Brick Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) Hello all! I'm new on the forum and this is my first post. I will introduce my last MOC on Space theme. I called it Space Cruiser Genesis. Cruiser is personal ship used by John Wayne (me) and has been designed and builded in development branch of Wayne Enterprises. It has a place for 2 persons with robot unit. The main drive are two Binonuclear GS i-0.5 engines. A ship is armed well; it has two lasers Quintech s-0.5 and ''general'' weapon FEMPP (focussed-electro-magnetic-pulse-projector), that can disable systems on pursued craft, stopping it effectively. It's all in black, with details of dark bluish and light bluish grey (black color is because of its missions around the space). It has most futuristic technologies aboard and it is very, very fast. The craft is used for inter-galactic travels and secret missions. Now on the pictures: Front view Doors up Cockpit Rear view Cockpit 2 Front view 2 Crew; John W. and Steve N. Detail of ''front wing'' Below close up Below view P.S.: sorry about my english, I come from Slovenia and I'm 15 years old And now, for the end: Are you ready for drive? Tereglith Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Welcome, and great debut on Eurobricks! This is a great ship, it has an amazing shape and just the right amount of greebles while still looking pretty sleek. Great job! Don't worry about your English, it's perfectly fine, and we've got lots of non-native speakers here on EB. However, a bit of Lego slang that would be handy for you to know is "dark bley" and "light bley" instead of bluish grey. Quote
Faramir Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Great Moc! Really loving how you fit so much into the interior, and the thruster design is awesome! My only suggestion would be to exchange the bley engines in the back for the black ones from Batman 7780. Quote
Legostein Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Hello and welcome to these fine boards! The starship you presented to us is pretty good! What I especially like about the ship is its comfortable and roomy interior. Furthermore those engines are a real eye-catcher. Using the octagonal handle plate definitely works very well here! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Princess Muttonchops Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Welcome to EB, Cedric! Very nice MOC. From the back it reminds me a little of the "futurised" version of the DeLorian from Back to the Future. I love the trans blue cheese slopes for the thruster flame. My only concern with this MOC is that the robot has so many monitors to maintain. Quote
prateek Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Wow! What a first impression! This MOC is really awesome, especially with all the details crammed into this model Quote
Optimus Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Excellent work on this. I love the way you did the engines, they really look awesome. I also like the "gullwing" cockpit. The interior details are nice as well. I love the use of the black droid. Quote
JimBee Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Wow, nice MOC here. I really love the shape of it, and the sleekness. The inverted middle part on the front adds some variety to it, and the duo-windshield idea is fantastic. I also like the engines with the trans-blue and the trans-red cheese slopes for rear lights. Quote
Corvus Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Very neat MOC. I especially like the thrusters- the trans-blue cheese slopes are very cool. Quote
Batbrick Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Fantastic Space Cruiser Cedric the Brick, I really can't lay a fault on it! I love the sleek black and grey look, and you've achieved a nice balance of studs and no studs. It is awesome that the cockpits open up, and the detailed areas are great. The figs are really good, though I don't think they quite fit in with the very shiny look of the ship. Batbrick Away! Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Welcome to EB Cedric! Great first MOC! It's Very nice! I like the cockpit and inside it! Great job and im looking forward to future MOCs from you! CommanderFox Quote

Cwetqo Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I've seen this in person at our LUG show and I liked it immediately. It's not cedric's first creation it's just first one he decided to put on EB. He alreay built some great stuff including parts modular space station and city post station. Keep up the good work! Loganwan Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Nice work. That ship looks fast and mean. It has such a nice amount of room in the cockpit area. Great build. Can't wait to see more. Quote
Milan Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Very nice! As Walrus Keeper said, it really looks like some kind of future DeLorean... I like this creation very much. And of course, welcome! Quote
Commander Laquiet Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Great work! I really like the interior/cockpit detail! Quote
Siegfried Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Were you inspired by this great MOC? I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just curious if it's some incredible co-incidence... Quote
Hound Knight Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Excellent work, I really like what you did with the cockpit. Is your name really John Wayne? Quote
Big Cam Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Wow, excellent work, this really looks like the batmobile in sapce form. I like it! Quote
Cedric the Brick Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 No, I'm not John Wayne. Not in real life. My name is Zan, but in LEGO, yes I am John Wayne and I'm owner of Wayne Enterprises Thanks for comments Happy Holidays and happy New Year 2010!!! Quote
