MagPiesRUs Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 (edited) In addition to some of the other suggestions, I'd love to see... 1. Mexican bandito (Complete with sombrero and poncho, this would be perfect ) 2. Queen's Royal Guard (I'd love an official bearskin hat - although it may be too soon for another redcoat.) 3. Reggae artist (Because we need some lego dreadlocks ) 4. Inuit 5. Hippy (The clown hairpiece would work well on this guy.) 6. Arabian wanderer/explorer/trader (To me, that AT-ST helmet is just screaming to be used for one of those middle-eastern headdresses.) 7. Mime 8. 15th Century Explorer (I'm thinking of a Marco Polo/Columbus type figure. I'd really like one of those medieval caps.) Edited December 4, 2009 by TinyPiesRUs Quote
Defi Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I'd love some Victorian figures, and maybe an 80's businessman. Quote
Torax Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Someone mentioned monks, and that would be awesome. Not only Christian monks though; a Buddhist Monk minifig would also be cool. And also Holy women/men from other religions. Sorry, this isn't the place to discuss religion, but I think it would be an awesome possibility. Anyway, I would also like a kid - just a regular kid. Short legs, and the accessory would be some sort of toy. (Minifig scaled) I'll come back if come up with more! Quote
Paul Baulch Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 After seeing the images of so-called "special collectible" minifigs (see here), I immediately thought of a few minfigs I'd love to see, obviously there would be issues preventing some of them, I was thinking more about awesome headgear/hair/printing/accessories Punk rocker with mohawk and electric guitar Vampire in the style of "Dracula" (it did come in one or two sets but it's a classic movie monster that a lot of people missed out on) Goth girl (ok, a silly idea but I'd love one) Roman legionnaire (or centurion, but I think legionnaire is better if you end up with a few of them ) Minfigures in some of the more distinctive traditional costumes of nations (although what if their "skin" is a colour not usual to that nation?... ) A pope, archbishop or similarly grand-looking priest (But would the kids dig it? ) What "special collectible" minfigs would you love to see? Big Cam Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks, Nice thread idea but this topic has already been started and it's only a few threads down from the minifig thread you referance in your post. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=35889 Quote
hewkii9 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 A couple ones I'd like to see - Saracen [Crusades] Crusader [Historical, not the theme] David Bowie Quote
David Thomsen Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 [*]Minfigures in some of the more distinctive traditional costumes of nations (although what if their "skin" is a colour not usual to that nation?... ) I learned the word 'dirndl' last night. I was already familiar with the costume, just not the name. I'd love to see a minifig in a dirndl. [*]A pope, archbishop or similarly grand-looking priest (But would the kids dig it? ) A lot of people of people have suggested religious minifigs... the Town Plan set had two people getting married at a town hall rather than a church, I think that's an indication of how unlikely Lego are to proceed down a religious pathway. If they ever had an bishop, they'd alienate everyone of a religion that isn't Catholic... not good for sales. Quote
user Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I'd like A witchdoctor A classic space alien A Vampire Frankenstein (Most wanted on my list) an Arabic thief (You know wrappings around the mouth, turban, funny shoes.) An Eskimo An Egyptian jackal warrior A hobo A Mad scientist A mutant/lizard man A modern fabuland fig. Quote
lisqr Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 So now that we've seen the first mini-figure series, time to guess (or wish) what the second series is going to contain. I would like to see: an elf with a bow and a new flower piece (maybe) an imp with a black trident an angel with a trumpet (together with the imp and some thought bubble makes a great scene) a programmer in a free tshirt with a laptop a kung fu master in a Nunchaku I think we will see: a wizard or witch some kinda space sci fi figure a pirate theme figure What's your guess or wish? RileyC Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Sok117 you have some really great ideas on your list. The ones Im not sure about on your list are the hockey player and the gorilla. The hockey player wouldnt be as popular overseas as it would in north america. The gorilla would be kinda impractical but still pretty awesome Quote
brickme Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Personally I would love a president's series just think of george's hair! Anyway I'd like to see some geek squad members and possibly some ...
