Holodoc Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you so much for your detailed reply. Brilliant! Plain brilliant! I will have to use some of your ingenious ideas sometime. Clearly five thumbs up.  Quote
Rick Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 You've really made an interior or should I say interiors to match the awesomeness of the exterior. The attention to detail is just phenomenal. Every room has various details that make it instantly recognizable, but I am still amazed at how you managed to put so much in so little space. The 'blue Santas' used as surgeons are so simple, yet spot-on and the nursery is really cute Are there hallways and staircases in the building that the modules connect to on the inside of the building? And have you contacted TLG about releasing this as an official set? One more thing: I was expecting doctor House at the pharmacy helping himself to some Vicodin... Quote
MetroiD Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 This is just too good to be true... *speechless* Now I can rest assured that those minifigs will be treated in the best facility there could ever be! lgorlando, I hereby officially proclaim you to be one of my Modular Building Gurus Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Okay my jaw has just finished dropping, it's even better with the close up shots. Again I'll say AWESOME ! The detail to every section fantastic and you have designed a beautiful sticker sheet too ! Love the MRI, doctors rooms aw I'll say it everything ! Yours would have to be Lego MOC of the year ! Quote
BlueBard Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Just one word for this MOC: masterpiece! Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 This is absolutely incredible! I really think you're setting a new standard here in modular design. It has IMO nothing to do anymore with Cafe Corner style or whatever, this is just a new way making a beuatiful MOC very playable as well! The second thing i really enjoy is the whole presentation. It comes even with a genuine sticker sheet? We're waiting for the box and instructions then! A big thumbs up to you mate! Cheers, JJ. Quote
metalgearsolid Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 It's just too bad santa won't be putting this set under my christmas tree! What an excellent piece of work. Love the exterior, love the interiors. Absolutely fantastic. Look forward to more excellent MOCs from you lgorlando. Quote
lgorlando Posted December 23, 2009 Author Posted December 23, 2009 Are there hallways and staircases in the building that the modules connect to on the inside of the building? And have you contacted TLG about releasing this as an official set? One more thing: I was expecting doctor House at the pharmacy helping himself to some Vicodin... I pulled the stair case out to make room for the pharmacy in the lobby BUT...I did add a new connectable module that has staircase, elevator and new office space that completes the building when it is open at full. (the elevator thing really bothered me...check brickshelf in January for the latest pictures and final mods of this project). As far as TLG, maybe someone will stumble upon the pictures with a google search??? Is there a way to submit ideas to them? I actually would like to see the hospital used for educational purposes which I would think, is desirable to TLG. And, yes that WAS Dr. House "borrowing" some Vicodin Quote
pasuay Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Hi! I'm a new lego builder with very limited experience. I am also a doctor and I would like to build one like this at my clinic for display. It would be cool!! Would you please kindly tell me what parts do I need to order? or share me with the plans? Thanks!! Regards, Pasu Quote
The Player Nº1 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010  Beautiful!! Fantastic!! One of the best MOCs I've ever seen in my entire life. Congrats Regards Quote
Artifex Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Perfect, just perfect! Amazing, awesome! There are so many adjectives that fit here that I could go on forever! Are orders on this set limited to how many per customer? Quote
Muha83 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 That is awesome! Apart from the baby with the bigger head than its mum :D Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Dang! FANTASTIC build... I'm suddenly imagining the possibilities if the next modular building was revealed to be City Hospital.... (drooooooooooool) Quote
lgorlando Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Thanks again guys. I modified the design due to the modular sections not being solidly modular. If I were a Lego Product Designer, this newer version would be the production version ready to be released! Here are the new pictures: Quote
Orcasek Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 This thing is so awesome, the slider sets in it just look fantastic on their own! Quote
Artifex Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 And it only gets better and better... I'm a conformist!! Quote
greg3 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Fantastic!! I absolutely love this.... it's just what a Lego hospital should be like!! (if only it was an official set... I'd buy it in a flash!!) Quote
peterab Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I still really like the contrast between the older and newer styles of the various parts. It adds a great feeling of reality, mirroring the additions that happen as hospitals expand over time. Your MOC has also gotten bigger and better over time. I'm a new lego builder with very limited experience. I am also a doctor and I would like to build one like this at my clinic for display. It would be cool!! Would you please kindly tell me what parts do I need to order? or share me with the plans? Thanks!! Hi Pasu, Welcome to Eurobricks, Many people don't create plans or part lists for their Mocs as it can be very time consuming, so most of us use the photos to re-create them if we wish. If you get stuck on particular details some builders will take a few broken down images or close ups on request. Quote
ACCURATEin Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 This hospital is beyond epic. So many great details. I love your work! Quote
BrickClick Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I love everything about this MOC The exterior the interior and even the custom stickers! This is truly amazing! Quote
Fires-storm Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Ok, I never thought I'd use wow this much in one day on the town forum, but here I go again...WOW! The detailing over the front window is just fabulous, and the way you made it modular as well as playable is superb. It would truly look right at home in any city Some of my favorite features are the architectural design, and the care you took in designing all the figs Quote
Allos Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Very impressive. Details/ proportions/ functionality were taken into consideration while building the hospital. Congrats on this amazing hospital! Quote
Rick Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 If I were a Lego Product Designer, this newer version would be the production version ready to be released! Send in your application, so I can pre-order this thing. Great job converting it to 'official' modular standards. Quote
Holodoc Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Thanks again guys. I modified the design due to the modular sections not being solidly modular. If I were a Lego Product Designer, this newer version would be the production version ready to be released! Sorry - but you have got your (well deserved) five stars already. So it's+ Quote
