Mariann Asanuma Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Hi all! Thought you might enjoy a little micro build of a Gingerbread House I designed for BrickJournal. You can download the instructions here. Quote
ILikePi Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) I just looked through the instructions, and I must say, there are a lot of advanced techniques utilized in such a small building! Clever use of the flag piece to make a thin white stripe above the front door. Thanks for sharing your creation with us! Edited December 5, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Thanks also for that link too, 'Mariann Asanuma'. My son loves the classic fairy tales, he would want to make a minifig scale one of these. It's very detailed for such a small build and I quite like it. - Better check my parts inventory then. Quote
CopMike Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Nice one Mariann, I´ll surely build one or two ! Thanks for sharing! Quote
badboytje88 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 That's very kind of you! Oh I am so getting in the christmas spirit thanks to this forum! Quote
Legostein Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Hello! It's great to see some more micro architecture here! This little house is really fantastic. You chose the right colours and techniques so this is instantly recognizable. It looks sweet , and probably would taste so as well. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
prateek Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Very nice and complicated indeed. I haven't seen a lot of these techniques before so kudos on that (well, you are a master builder after all ) Quote
Izzy Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 That is really gorgeous Mariann! Very cute and tasty looking. Nice job on the instructions too. Thanks for sharing it with us all. Quote
Tanotrooper Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Indeed, some very nice techniques in there. I like the use of the flag into the design and the miniature snowman TT Quote
Big Cam Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Great mini creation, thanks for sharing your instructions, I may make them as little homes for individual figs, ha Quote
Grimmy Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 That is really neat! Great instructions too. I think I'm going to make this to put near the Christmas tree. Quote
Milan Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Great, very cute! Perfect little creation for this time of the year! Quote
Topsy Cret Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Neat little house! Unfortunately, I am unable to open the file as I own a Mac, hence I do not have the appropriate file to see the instructions. If anyone could somehow change the format, I would be most grateful seeing as how I am really liking the look of this one. Thanks. Quote
JayDuck Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Better late than never, I suppose. In reply to the post above, the instructions are a .pdf, a cross-platform file format. Just head over to the Adobe site and get the version of Acrobat Reader for your OS. http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ Download, install, and enjoy. Hope that helps. Quote
