cagri Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 The old problem: What you mean is studless = smooth surfcae (mostly by using tiles).SNOT is, if the bricks aren't headed studs to the top but to the sides or even studs down. It is actually SNOT, those tiles are not facing upwards, are they :) Quote
GingerBreadKid Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Nice work,i think the guards in the top part of the tower are pretty cool to. Quote
3D LEGO Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Very nicely done! Though it looks to me as if it would burn to the ground oh so quickly with all the exposed timber. "Menn! T'night to thie Kasle! We're goin to gett eben wit thie Duke wonce and fur all!... Oh and bringe ye pitch, tar, and yor Torches! I wunder how hie wuld like to sie hies lov'ly Kasle go oop in flaims?" (a bad attempt at old language) Quote
kris kelvin Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Thanks again for another portion of compliments Do you mean the fact that the castle is built out of red bricks, perhaps? I mean that castles in the mountains are built from stone, not from bricks :) Brick-built castles were built on the plains for example. Kris, do you keep all your creations together or do you break them apart after taking pictures? I always break. My wllet isn`t from rubber "Menn! T'night to thie Kasle! We're goin to gett eben wit thie Duke wonce and fur all!... Oh and bringe ye pitch, tar, and yor Torches! I wunder how hie wuld like to sie hies lov'ly Kasle go oop in flaims?" (a bad attempt at old language) Very big LOL I`m glad that you like it Edited December 9, 2009 by kris kelvin Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 OK, this was worth the wait (on Dial-up) to see. 1. Castle looks different from alot of typical lego castles. 2.Details. lots of nice details. (also, you dont see too many wooden sections on most peoples lego castles) 3. The Black Falcons are my favorite castle series, so, I had to post a comment! Lord Falkner approves! ...as soon as I get my camera working again, I'll post my castles! ^^ Quote
