Zorbas Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I was looking for a LEGO related christmas wallpaper for my laptop and I've discovered this! (Click the picture for the full size image.) What a wonderful piece of art! Isn't that nostalgic? The uploader's name is kaiserlino. I don't know if he is the actual creator though. Quote
Rick Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Even though it's a computer-rendered image (I would have preferred real bricks), it's a really nice classic town scene. Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 'Walking in a winter wonderland' isn't how the song goes, in this case a winter brick wonderland. Yes, 'Rick' I too would have loved to see this one done for real. Merry Christmas ! Quote
desultor Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 There's a lovely poster on LEGO.com's poster download page, too: But I was really hoping for a poster download of this year's Advent Calendar image - that thing looks built and awesome! Anybody have a hi-res scan? Quote
Rick Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 That's an image of last year's Lego City advent calendar, so maybe they'll release the current advent calendar next year Quote
MarcusV3 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Yeah it would be great if they released a blown up image of that advent calender! I own one myself and would love to be able to study the nice little details Quote

Was more thrilled to get the poster than whatever i was buying tbh. [Ok, but i was just getting yet another set of something i already had]. Hope you can get from a store too. Unfortunately I don't have a good scanner to share a high res scan. I used the poster for the backdrop of my winter toy shop: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...t=0&start=0 Hmm... linked for easier view. Quote
