My parents are in the "Arn't all the lego pieces the same" phase, I hate it.

I have been a very good boy this year, so, even though my parents said they wont buy me Lego anymore, I have asked for either the AT-OT or the Death Star. :sweet: I'm expecting the latter because my parents tend to be generous, and they are giving my sister $400 for a trip to Germany, so it would only be fair if they gave me something in the same price range.

I'm very sorry for you, prateek.

My parents have already gotten one 10199 Winter Toy Shop from Black Friday wrapped under the tree for me (I went with my mom to get it, but they are paying for it as their gift to me), and four polybag sets (Mini TIE Fighter, Rally Racer, Snowman, and Christmas Tree) in a stocking. I can't wait to open the Winter Toy Shop! :classic:

It's very unfortunate how you can't get anything, prateek.

I am probably getting the Republic Fighter Tank and a lot of clone battle packs. :cry_happy: I am expanding my clone army this Christmas!

Thank you all for your responses. It is really interesting to read them, I now I can't wait until Christmas! :classic:

I have to give a nod to LEGO in the way of stocking stuffers. They have everything for every theme, like battle packs, impulses, key chains, etc.

Does anyone expect any certain surprises in their stocking?

Great topic, Legoliner Pilot!

The only LEGO I get under the tree is stuff I put there myself  I bought a MISB 6441 Divers Deep Refuge a month or two back, so I have wrapped that and stuck it under the tree. It will give me great pleasure to open and savour such a wonderful classic set at Christmas time.

I know that I am getting the lime green Campervan as my sister got me to buy it for myself during a sale, along with a set each for her 6, 4, and 2 year old. I'm just another kid to her!

I have also asked for the Pirate Advent Calendar but I'm pretty sure my family were to slow to pick one up.

8258 crane truck for me!

Have been trying to avoid pictures of it's inner workings as I want them to be a mystery finally revealed Christmas day!

I think you have the right idea! :classic: I hate to be a bit saddening in a nice cheerful thread such as this but in my family things are rough. Not much thought is put into gifts. I told my mother I rather have a cheap thing that says it is me then something expensive that is not me at all. When I shop for people for Christmas I try hard to get someone something that they like that says hey I know you and I put some thought into this. My parents are Portuguese and even though she speaks and reads English, my mother can barely tell one Lego set from another. Most Christmas's she just tells me to order something with her credit card, wrap it, and put it under the tree. Or I get money, cold hard cash, which I dislike. It's like they say, "well I'm obligated to get a gift so here don't say I didn't get you nothin."

I like Svelte's idea and I may do it myself. I have 2 Castle sets still unopened that I really like. Troll Warship which has a dragon, and Dwarf Mines which also has awesome minifigs too. Though people may look at me funny lol. I could see myself now in front of everyone, "wow what could be in this nice big box! Oh wow just what I wanted, Jason Grimm (my name) how did you know?"

Wrong, 13 days left

It depends if you get your gifts on Christmas eve or Christmas day. In some countries, mine included, the big day of Christmas is the 24 of December.

Regarding what sets I expect for Christmas I know I have an 7195 Ambush in Cairo waiting for me but my brother might actually get me something more. :classic:
