Sandy Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I am hoping to finally get the King's Castle Siege, before it's put out of production. I went as far as pointing out the stores that have it in stock to my boyfriend. I'm also aiming to buy a few sets for myself with the money I got from graduation. Quote
SlyOwl Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 When I was a kid in school and we did the secret santa thing, and the person asked me what I wanted, I said Legos every time. I'd get one of those small sets. Once we had an odd number of people in my class so the teacher was my secret Santa and I was hers lol. She asked me what I liked, I said Legos. She said Legos are really expensive which is what everyone said. She ended up getting me generic imitation Legos and when I opened she kept asking if it was okay. I was happy! I loved Legos but I rarely got them so even though they were imitation, I was still happy. They were just like Legos but the 2x4 plates were thicker, like 2 Lego plates stacked thick. They were good imitation ones compared to the horrible imitation Lego bucket my parents got me for one Christmas...OMG I was so dissapointed that I had to hide the tears in my eyes. Sounds like you got some Tyco there, which has that irregular plate/brick width system. I got Raanu; my first Bionicle, but very welcome nonetheless! We had loads of fun at lunch playing with it. The price limit was only £3-5, so there wasn't that much scope; I'd have liked to have taken part in the £10-15 one my friends did aswell, but I missed the sign up for it. (To top it off my lil brother peed in the bucket with them one day for some reason) Ouch! Quote
filip skywalker Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Well, I'll go chrismas-shopping with my grandparents tomorrow, they usually let me choose one set I like, then I get it. This year, I'll go for the ARC-170 Starfighter, it is released at my local toystore tomorrow! Quote
legotrainfan Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 (edited) Either Family Home 6754 or the Emerald Night. Presumably it is Family Home since it's cheaper, but I'm not sure. And the Green Grocer. Of that I'm very sure since I bought it for myself. Unfortunately, the postal service hasn't delivered it yet, but it should be here in time. It was a S@H purchase. nigil Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 First post on EB. Wife is getting me the Fire Brigade. I bought myself the Cafe Corner to start the year off right. Quote
Commander Flash Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Plenty of Star Wars sets, of all of them, I know I am getting the V-19 Torrent Quote
Sergiu Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I don't expect to have any sets under the tree this year, because I have recently spent about 500$ on BrickLink orders for a new MOC. Maybe next year I'll get something, but who knows. Quote
Calanon Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I have no idea what I'll be getting, but I'm hoping for the Winter Toy Shop and Emerald Night Train. :) Quote

Mraz Skintas Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I will be getting a large BrickArms and Brickforge order that contain many Halo based weapons and accessories, as well as a few Indy sets. Hopefully I will get some money so I can buy some of the January SW wave right after Christmas. -'Skintas Quote
RileyC Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Im really just probably going to get money from relatives which would be spent on lego anyway. Quote
Darth_Legois Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Galactic Enforcer (lay-by'd since the midyear sales) Quote
Davey Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I think I've been a pretty good boy this year so I am expecting a whole bunch of Classic Space sets along with the Technic Crane Truck, Technic Front Loader, Fire Brigade, Grand Carousel, Galactic Enforcer, Tantive IV, and a bunch of other stuff I really can't remember. It's a good thing I have 16 days in a row off work at X-mas this year (had vacation to 'use or lose'). -Dave Quote
Sir Fred Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I didn't really ask for anything this year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see King's Battle Chariot, even more Dwarf Mine Defenders or possibly some battle packs or base plates/bulk buckets maybe, but I'm not expecting much, as is fairly evident by this list. It's nice to have absolutely no idea what I'm getting for once. Quote
Xenophilius Studz Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 My family realizes just about all I ask for is LEGO. I know I'm getting: Corporate Alliance Tank Droid Claw Grabber Sports Car I might be getting a LEGO book, either the LEGO Book or LEGO Star Wars book. I also might get LEGO Indy 2 for the the Wii As far as sets go, I asked for Galactic Enforcer Space Truck Getaway Star Wars 2009 battlepacks Separatist Shuttle River Heist Camper Magma Mech Raid VPR Smash n'Grab impulses... My mom went shopping and she said she saw the Toy Story sets and TRU, and see didn't even ask if I wanted any on the phone, even though she knows I love Toy Story. Sheesh. Quote
Dark Wanderer Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Well, seeing as I don't actually have a tree and anything I put there would be from myself.... I blew my Christmas LEGO budget on the three modular buildings: Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, and Fire Brigade. And hopefully I'll be able to stop by the LEGO store a few days after, and see what they have, too. Maybe some 2010 stuff? Quote

JCC1004 Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 (edited) Katie told me she got me some other things. Wouldn't say anything about it. I can't wait! Edited December 21, 2009 by JCC1004 Quote
Mirandir Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I didn't ask for any since I know I won't be getting any. Instead I've asked for, and hope I'll get, some storage. Which I'm in desperate need of right now. :( Quote
Disturbia Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 The Home One Mon Calamari Star cruiser. I should know, it was the only thing I picked out at the store Quote
CMP Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Well, seeing as TRU had a buy 1 get 1 50% off deal on all Legos, I know I am getting Raid VPR, Smash n Grab, Gold Heist, and (for the parts) Ambush in Cairo, because I picked them out anyway. I was going for Power Miners this year, but at that time at TRU, there was like 2 Power Miners sets left on the shelves, so I shifted to SP3. I also suspect my little brother is getting Lego Indy 2 for Wii. It's gonna be a good Christmas. (Insert Christmas carol here) Quote
Drock Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the Sandcrawler. And maybe some lego gift cards. Quote
ElisHelrot Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Looks like my present will be the Venice Canal Chase Quote
