simonjedi Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 I've been waiting for an excuse to post this image for ages! Quote
Balrog Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 awesome pics... btw. I have played the demo. And I must say, that I am pretty impressed. Well let's see til the game is delivered. Hopefully Amazon is a day ahead with pre-orders, like always. Quote
DarthSion Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Yeah I finely got to play the demo, not totally sold on it, the new blue holocrons are an interesting ad to the mix. Some of the moves to seem over the top, especially for stormtroopers who go done in one hit. Quote
RileyC Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I also played the demo. Its a nice game, though not a lot of improvement to the look of the game except for the rain. That is awesome! The gameplay is a lot like the first one but I hope you can choose if you want one or two lightsabres cause two is a bit annoying. The storyline looks exceptional! Sounds like it will have a lot of plot twists and mystery to it. A definite buy if you ask me. Quote
DarthSion Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Everything I have seen has been stating they redesigned the whole fighting style around 2 sabers, so I doubt you will get to use just one. Quote
RileyC Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Everything I have seen has been stating they redesigned the whole fighting style around 2 sabers, so I doubt you will get to use just one. damn that is disappointing. Oh and another thing that annoyed me was how many limbs fly of when you attack stormies. It happens a lot even if you not even hit them on that part yet it still flys off. And another thing, Vader says that the sped up cloning process is still a work in progress, but they made EP 2 and 3 clones that way? I hope that's explained. Quote
Oky Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I don't think this TV spot has been posted? It's pretty awesome as it features an animated version of the Unleash Fury pic simonjedi posted! Quote
CF Mitch Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 WOW! Now thát was epic I wonder what planet that was on. At first I thought it was Endor, but I don't think it snows there I also loved how the 'Imperial march'-tune started when Galen ignited his lightsabers Just two more weeks to goooo Regards, CF W Quote
DarthSion Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) 1. Ah no, the clones were made using the normal process, these clones of Starkiller and Boba, are made using a new method a faster method. 2, My best mate Aaron is over and we are playing the demo, he found out you can upgrade your powers in the demo, we started out with level 1 mind trick, and upped it to level 2. Balrog Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 1. Ah no, the clones were made using the normal process, these clones of Starkiller and Boba, are made using a new method a faster method. I always thought Boba was a clone without sped up growth. Regular clones from the clone wars aged twice as fast (giving them half the life span of a normal human. Boba did not, did he? There is still not very much known about the cloning process of Starkiller. But I guess Vader wanted to have him cloned even faster than normal clone trooper (e.g. have him grown up in a year or even less). Quote
CF Mitch Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) Boba was, indeed, a clone that grew on a normal pace. At the request of Jango. The other clones grew, I think, a bit faster than twice as fast. Or at least some point in the war they did, 'cause they were suffering severe casualties. As for Starkiller's clones, they had to be full grown within six months. As I read that TFU II takes place about six months after the original, so.. Currently I am running with 2x8800GTS. I can play all games pretty good. But not full blown AA and such. That makes me sad somehow. But I'll get this for PS3 anyway! So no problem :) Edited October 21, 2010 by Balrog Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Has anyone posted a link to the StarWars.com article? WARNING: There are plenty of storyline spoilers, and a hint on how to defeat one of the level bosses. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I simply cannot wait for this game. Argh, 4 more days. If it's anythign like the first, which I'm sure it will only be better. I'll be thrilled. :) Quote
DarthSion Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 Damn I wish I had a 360. I see there is an audio book out for this game. Quote

KotZ Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 I bought the new novel a few days ago and I think it's much better than the original. I can't wait till the game and there are a lot more explanations of the Rebel Alliance. "It's a trap!" and there has to be a sequel to it. Quote

I've got it on hold at my local library, should be able to get my hands on it i a couple weeks. Quote
Churchill Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Forgive me if anyone has mentioned this before, but I couldn't go back through all the old posts right now... has anyone read the novelization of TFU (the first one)? Any thoughts on it? Quote
DarthSion Posted October 25, 2010 Author Posted October 25, 2010 For being my informant on the issue, I would have guessed you had one. They aren't too ,uch, you should get one. Nah, PS3 with jailbreak, I'm a Sony boy. Quote
General Magma Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 If anybody has played this for PC already, please tell me if it was good and worth buying, because I heard the PC version of the first game was terrible. Hopefully it's better for TFU2, as I don't have any Next Generation consoles... Thanks in advance, ~ General Magma Quote
simonjedi Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 The Facebook fan page have uploaded a flash version of the demo level. You can play as starkiller or Boba Fett to hunt down people on your friend list. http://apps.facebook.com/escapefromkamino/?type=discovery I don't know if we want to share facebook info with each other so we can hunt each other down. Up to all of you. Quote
