tulatin Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) To be honest, I really wasn't happy with the looks of 7236 by default. I came across a MOC on the net that had dropped the lightbar down behind the roof line, and that was indeed a good start - but it wasn't quite enough. By using a roof for the hood, and overhanging it over the front end and push bars, I think it's really got a nice muscle car vibe going now. Plus the two clips in the back are nice so the equipment doesn't flop around. Seriously, look how much better this set looks with about 3 extra pieces :). lightningtiger Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Very clever with a few pieces you created your own American style police cruiser. Excellent !!! Mine is more of high speed chase car, but yours you could pack in there a rifle for those bank robberies this vehicle would attend. Great work, but please when you post - smaller pictures please - my computer was having a hard time downloading them thanks. Quote
prateek Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Awesome job! It looks like a real badass Mustang cop car now if you ask me. I like the bars in the front Quote
MetroiD Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Loved your rendition of the police car, tulatin -- and welcome to Eurobricks!!! I particularly enjoyed seeing your muscle car ideas brought to life with that hood / front bars combination. Great modification! Keep em coming :) Quote
Legostein Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Hello! The car looks really sporty with your modifications. The wedge plate does an excellent job for the facade. And it's great how it fits into the container. If I may, I only suggest that you also provide a picture of the original for those who are not familiar with it (like me). That makes it much easier to spot the differences. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Milan Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Nice MOD! I prefer MOCs, but this tweaks really changed the base car! Quote
