I dont know if this has been brought up before or not so could you please tell me if this has.

I was wondering just a few minutes ago, are you a collector or have collected something else other than lego? I collected Pokemon cards for a while until I was about 12 and then sort of got into scalextric for a while then got annoyed by having to dismantle it a lot. After, my little brother got the imperial and rebel battle packs in 2008 which got me hooked on Star Wars lego.

Thanks for your feed back.

I collect odd bits of knowledge, books, unusual rocks (I even have a meteorite fragment!) versions of monopoly, chess sets, T-shirts with sayings that only I understand, and mess. These collections are ordered by size, except for mess, which ought to be first. If lego were in there it would be between odd bits of knowledge and books.

I collect 1:24 diecast cars and my dad collects 1:18 cars and bikes. My dad also collects ties, which is kinda wierd  I used to collect Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. My Yu-Gi-Oh deck was so stacked (no pun intended)

Other than Lego, the only the only items I collect are Hot Wheels and firearms. My Hot Wheels collections is worth around $3K and my firearms collection... let's not get into that. I have two pending purchases, an AR-15 and an M-1 Garand.

Yes...

My Non-LEGO Room:

All the Indy cars I had autographed personally by the drivers, same with the Top Fule dragsters and Top Fuel engine parts, plus many autographs form various drivers...

All my cars range from 1:87 scale to 1/12 scale!

Thousands of Hot Wheels (shown and in boxes for the moment.

The tall case has 1/24 scale NASCAR cars, some are 24K gold plated, others are limited to 1 of 50 pieces made, and many autographs like Richard Petty, to Tony Stewart.

PICS!

Well, when I was small I collected TY Beanie Babies. Then I collected dragons (cuddly ones) I have a cuddly Duplo Dragon from Legoland  . I have always been collecting books, since Famous Five and Secret Seven when I was little to Discworld and Jasper Fforde now. I also collect trade paperbacks of Justice Society of America and Elseworlds. I collect Zoids and cool action figures and trading figures from Final Fantasy. I have a collection of polyhedric dice and sand timers...

I am a collecting person. I do not see my Lego as a collection as it is much more dynamic to me, MOCing is my hobby and I take sets and figueres apart (While the most I do with anything else is customise my "double" Zoids).

Considering I don't have much space I certainly have a lot of collections!

My goodness you lucky, lucky thing.

As for me, I am an avid book collector, I do a lot of reading and always buy my books rather than borrow from a library. I am a great fan of science fiction and fantasy, but also have a collection of non-fiction books including histories, philosophy, science etc. My dad always comments that when he wants to read a good book, he just has to visit my library. I was also once a bit of a coin collector, and have a small cupboard full of various NZ coins mostly, as well as some others. Lots of Iraqi banknotes too, although they have more sentimental value. I used to collect model trains, with a focus on Marklin, which is a very nice German brand of miniatures, very high quality. I have alas sold most of that collection now to fund my expanding passion for Lego. As much as I enjoyed them, they weren't really as enjoyable as a hobby for me.

Exept the LEGO I have I read books !! I'm trying to collect all the Dirk Pitt novels and sorts, also I've gotten a new hobby last year.

A '89 USA import Volkswagen Corrado in good condition, so there's a lot to be done with the car ( lucky for me , it's not completly overhauled or pimped )

As Moccer I collect everything for my project I'm currently working on.. so once in a while I order some stuff for that, as A SW fan I collect the fig's , and as a Blacktronfan I collect the B1 figs .. and minifigheads for them. So far I've got + 400 B1 figs and +/- 100 differend heads for them.

My dad collects SIKU trucks and cars, he has an very nice collection of a 1000 or so trucks and cars.

This might come on a surprise, but I collect Halo stuff. Basically any and all things Halo. I have all the novels, comics, and storyboards released. I bought the Legendary/ Collectors addition of every game. I have only a few actions figures as of now though, but am working to buy a lot more. I even went as far as to buy those little pins and magnets you see on endcaps in GameStops. Oh, and I also have a few Halo T-shirts. But I'm not a fanatic or anything. :look:

Very cool! Same here! All 1/24 and 1/18 scale cars. Mainly cause of my profession, i'm partial to Police cars. As of late i've started collecting various scale military hellocopters as well.

I collected CD's before... only metal music. I had about 180 CD's which is nota lot, of course, but I bought it all in 3 years (!). Now I still buy CD's but not as much as before, what I "collect" now are books (Philosophy and History, but also Politics, Religion, Art, Litterature, etc.)

I collected Hasbro Clone Troopers for at least 3 years. I stopped in January of this year and just had Lego. I got a couple of them since then. I have about 150 of them. They're currently in storage. I needed more room for Lego. I still check Rebelscum every once and awhile. I still like them but I'm not buying them anymore.

Plastic model kits :classic: Ranging from a 1/35 German Pazerhaubitze 2000 to a 1/500 USS Nimitz (Even in that small scale it's a big beast  ).
