I'll use this post as a place holder, as I don't know what I'm getting--What's the fun in knowing? I mean, occasionally I'll shake the packages in my living room, but I'll never know what Lego it is-if it DOES jingle-and I'll be happy.

All I want for Christmas is money, mainly because I want to spend it on the next wave of SW sets and an iPod touch. But, at the moment I have two presents under the tree. One is a Secret Santa, and the other is from a relative. I have no idea what they are. :look:

EDIT: I got my mum some music, and my dad a DVD. :classic:

My brother got me the Ramses Pyramid boardgame. It hasn't been reviewed yet so I'm gonna give it a shot, and haven't opened it yet because of that. I've never reviewed anything before.

Elsewhere, some books, clothes, DVDs, the Ghostbusters XBox game, and the Nelly Furtado CD I'm currently chilling out to. Plenty of stuff to keep me going, as well as some cash to get the stuff I obviously didn't drop enough hints for ;)

Now that Christmas is over, I can share fully what all I got:

LEGO:

-Guardian of the Deep

-Hoth Imperial BP

:P that's it. I need to go buy some more.

MONEY:

A total of $55 cash, plus the $40 I won on my scratch-off lottery ticket!

BOOKS:

-The Truth by Terry Pratchett

-Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

-The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (duh)

-TIME Magazine's Cryptids!

-The Math Book by Clifford A. Pickover

-The Cat King and Other Feline Tales compiled by some poor bored person.

DVDs

-Mythbusters Season 4

CANDY

-Premium mint M&Ms (yum!)

-mini Christmas M&M's

-a Pez dispenser

-A box of milk chocolate vanilla buttercream Fannie Mae candies (YUM!)

MISCELLANY

-I got Tara, a cool Irish board game, curiously enough from my not-Irish grandma. (I have one that is Irish)

-4GB flash drive that's super tiny.

-A wall canvas with an Emmerson quote.

-A roll of duct tape (that will soon become a lunchbox under my skillful hand)

-An SAT practice page-a-day calendar

-A fiber optics kit

"SANTA" GIFTS

In my household, we open all of the gifts from parents and grandparents on Christmas Eve, and then my sister and I each get a large "Santa" present on Christmas morning. This year's were:

-TurboCAD, which I think my mom thought was AutoCAD. AutoCAD would have been a heck of a lot more useful for my engineering class. TurboCAD is only 2D renderings. :hmpf:

-LEGO Island and LEGO Island 2, because my mom could look at Pong and Fallout 3 and not be able to tell which one was made first. LEGO Island is so old that it wasn't even compatible with Vista. I'm surprised they still sell these games. Oh well, at least I understand the controls.

So, all in all, it was a pretty good Christmas. It'll get even better when I spend my lotto winnings at the DT Disney LEGO store, when we visit Disney World on the 2nd!

Woah, I got LEGO this year! It has been some years since I got LEGO for Christmas.

I got the smaller Atlantis sets from my sister (and that's all I'll get from Atlantis):

8072 Sea Jet

8073 Manta Warrior

8056 Monster Crab Clash

I also got some Alpha Team sets. My father bought them second hand some months ago, I then got the evil Ogel sets, now I got the others from my parents:

4791 Sub-Surface Scooter

4792 Navigator and ROV

4794 Alpha Team Command Sub

And then a "Vegas Playboy( :look: )" pack (deodorant and shower gel  ) and some money. My parents were about to give me two other presents containing a LEGO set (the City advent calendar, yes I know what it is because my dad said he bought it, but I never got it) and somethintg that has to do with LEGO. But I said that it really was enough for Christmas. I didn't want any more things for just one evening (if you know what I mean, it would just become too much), so I'll get it for New Year.

:grin::thumbup:

I got Squidmans escape, Smash n Grab, a clone battle pack, and the Indy set with the mobster trucks. Non-lego I got the "Toy Story Collection" versions of Woody, RC, and the green aliens. :sweet: I already had Buzz. I also got Up on DVD, three sketch pads, and 150 dollars.

Thats a lot more than normal years.
