Big Cam Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I'm snowed in with a blizzard at my Mother in laws house so I don't get to see my parents or sister this Christmas, but so far all I really got was a very nice manfrotto tripod for my camera, I did not see that coming. Plus my wife said more is in the mail, and then I'm expecting cash from my parents since I told them that's all I wanted. Quote

JimBee Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Finally done exchanging presents this year, and I have to say, this is the most loot I've gotten, ever. I was amazed at how much I got this year! (These are from the whole family). Lego: - Corporate Alliance Tank Droid - Separatist Shuttle - Battle of Endor - Fighter Plane Attack - AAT - Drawbridge Defense - Temple of the Crystal Skull (kind of a present to myself from Black Friday) Movies: - The Ultimate James Bond Collection (it says all 21, but it is missing Never Say Never Again (produced by a different studio than the rest) and Quantum of Solace (Bond 22). I'm getting ready to have some intense arguments with Batbrick. ) - Mystic River - Transformers 1 - X-Men Origins: Wolverine Games: - New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Misc.: - Interactive Arcade (I already have a Wii, and this is a generic rip-off of it, but my grandparents got it for a really good price, so they just got it on impulse) - Money (around $80 I think) - Clothes And I've been saving up, so I'm going to the Lego store in Chicago on Monday. Spoiled. Quote

Which albums? Also, I forgot to mention that I got new headphones (I also got new ones from St. Nick, but now I'm set until at least next year), and I got my own camera. I haven't tested it out yet, but hopefully it's good for Lego pics. And the Lego Minifigs/ Lego History two book set. Very interesting stuff, I never knew Lego was made out of wood in the 30's. Quote

A really good chirstmas all round Quote
brickzone Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Lego - I was delightfully surprised to get 4758 Hogwarts Express and 4751 Harry and the Marauder's Map - another two Harry Potter sets to add to my collection! Also received two tow trucks - but very different from one another! 7638 Tow Truck (city) and the huge 8285 Tow Truck (Technic). The latter is my first real Technic set, and I'm really enjoying the build so far. It was secondhand so as per my earlier thread asking for advice on fixing it, I may have to get a replacement pneumatic pump (plus one or two minor parts, plus silver dishes and one grey wheel). Lots of books too, including hardback editions of the first two Inkheart books. Now I just need to finish my PhD thesis so I can finally open Battle for Endor - a "thesis completion" present from myself back in October - when I expected to finish the thesis much sooner. I resolve not to open it till I finish it though. Quote
Athos Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I got the Indy Fighter Plane Attack from my sister; the Family Home from my mother; and theFire Brigade from my wife. And our baby got her first Duplo set... And my wife's father got me a lego ice tray. Steve Quote
