Call me an idiot, but somehow I completely missed the conclusion of #5. I guess I thought that Hink meant the next chapter would be the conclusion, but either way, that's why I said that they weren't here, cause I thought that Quenton was still alive :sadnew: sorry about that, next time, I'll try to be more atentive next time

Also, why am I getting so touchy with Sylvia?

Why not? I figure the two of you want a threesome with Samantha. That's what I'm reading anyway.

Quite a bit has happened since my last post. I have a bit of building to do for the answers. Feel free to keep exploring, while I update it. Real busy weekend, look for my next post tomorrow...

Updates will come tomorrow. Busy with visiting family. Sorry about the delay.

Oooh, the excitement is killing me! Or killing Diesel perhaps, I guess we'll find out soon!

Whew! That was worth the wait! I admit, I was worried when I saw my character closest to the evil demon monster. Glad I got through that! So far, anyway...

First chance I've had to stop in. Looks like a good chapter so far, and glad you guys used my body in some way, no matter how unproductive.

As soon as the demon's dead. I'm taking one of your bones, so it wasn't ENTIRELY unproductive

Glad you are still checking in. I hope school is going well. :sweet:

You guys need some help?

Yes please. I've got those pieces sitting by my computer and I fiddle with them every night, but I haven't come up with anything yet. I'm also too afraid of death traps to touch the tiles or wheel.

I kept trying to build a structure for the spear trap that would fit within the 8 x 8 alcove the spears were in. So thanks for the clue Hinckley, it was really simple once I had that.

Great solving Sir Dillon. The puzzle itself, by far the hardest in the game, is courtesy of my co-worker, EB member Clark.

I am swamped and way behind with updating this topic. There is a major update on the way leading up to the conclusion of this chapter. It is almost finished. Hang in there. I hope to get things wrapped up tomorrow night. In the mean time, perhaps you guys can help Penny and William figure out the missing clue by re-reading the East Library chapter and figuring out what could've been missed...

Thanks, as always, for your un-ending patience everybody! :sweet:

Whew, that was an exciting conclusion! Great job Hinckley, very much looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm back, and while I can't say I'm sorry I quit (would have been useless to you folks, and that wouldn't have been fair), I can say that it still looks like it's a hell of a llot of fun! Good work Hinck, very enjoyable to catch back up on!

I'm going to split this chapter in two. I will do my best to finish this one ASAP. I'm afraid the game will have to pause after that. I am going on a business trip for a month and have to move out of my apartment before then. Then is Tuesday... Sorry to do this with the game so close to an end, and after you've all been so patient with the slow pace of the game. But real life has to take priority here...

Fair enough. This actually ties in well with me as I have prelim exams next week. So, you know, have fun!

I've been following this game since chapter 4, and I have been enjoying every post. I've been trying to go over the clues and figure out who the killer is, much like the players are probably doing.

I have a question about these mystery games. Does the player playing the killer know he or she is the killer? For instance, if Jack Baxter were the killer (he's not; he's been half the man he used to be for three chapters), would Jim Butcher know it? It makes a difference if you have to scrutinize everything a player has said, or only what Hinckley has written (or shown) about a character. There's also the possibility that Hinckley has PMed certain things that a player should add into the conversation. I'd imagine Penny's twiddling with her locket came from Hinckley originally. Or I could be wrong.
