Thanks for the review TheBrickster

Great battlepack, especially because of the AT-AT driver. Minor issue is the back of the helmet, which is half open, I would have rather had a closed one. Imperial officer is a plus too. The two stormtroopers are a nice addition to get a few of those, like in the Echo base "battlepack".

It's not specifically Veers, rather an Imperial Officer in cold weather gear.

True.

This is a lovely review. Great picture effects and brilliant explanations.

I think your review has changed my mind on this set and I will definitely get it now.

Can't wait to your next review.

Thanks for such a great review and the very good story TheBrickster.

This is the best battle pack from stormtroopers battle pack.

I am waiting very much the Endor Battle Pack.

These are must have items in my collection.

Cool review! And hey anything that has a supercool (to me anyway) AT-AT driver in it is a gotta have set!! The only other cooler minifig to come off of Hoth so far is the Han w/ Tauntaun!

Nice review! I was considering reviewing this set, until I saw this. I don't know how I missed it before. Certainly an amusing format.

A lot of people like the Clone Wars.

May I point out that a lot of people also like Howard the Duck, Hannah Montana, and Jake Lloyd as Anakin.

(Actually, I was just kidding about that last one)

Thanks for the review, was very much fun to read! Good pictures and all I need to know about it, thanks a lot! Didn't know about the radar screen.. nice!

But there is this certain feeling I will not need several General Veers and AT-AT drivers. And there is this even stronger feeling that exactly this minifig lineup will be included in the rumoured AT-AT. Guess I'd rather go with another Echo Base instead, seems more value (Keep in mind the BPs cost 15€ in Europe) to me.

@Mr Green Brick: They have no choice, it is Lucas who wants every single package of anything (from Lego to Pez) to have the same look. Guess 10th anniversary was just an exception. And come one, the CW sets are not that bad :classic: !

I agree the CW sets aren't bad at all. The CW figures however...

Anyway, thanks for the awesome review Brickster! This may be the best SW battle pack that has been produced to date. The snowtroopers are some of the best SW figs and it's nice to get the correct torso to put on my Veers in the AT-AT despite the fact the rank insignia is incorrect (however it's incorrect on the official Veers as well so nothing lost there). I've already purchased 2 and I plan on getting more once they start showing up again. I've only found these in one store so far and they flew off the shelves, I was lucky to get any. In the States these BP's cost $10.99, unless you go to TRU which undoubtedly has gouged their prices.

I'm acually thinking I'm going to have to pick up more of these to have an impressive force of Snowtroopers, since they're composition is split amont three types of soldier instead of the usual two. (with the exception of the first clone BP)

Since I was able to last night - one Snowtrooper BP ! :sweet:

The AT-AT driver is fantastic - highly detailed helmet. :vader:

The officer has a very detailed torso. The missile launcher - not bad - I didn't see any of these in ESB ? :vader:

The speeder bike is AWESOME - a white version of the Endor one I think. :vader:

In all a fantastic set to join the Rebel BP, Echo Base set and of my TRU exculsive Hoth Base of 2007 - I only need Wampa Attack and my Hoth is done ! :sweet::grin::laugh:

It's a great set. Three different kinds of minifigs, plenty equipment, a small base (several functions) and a vehicle, too. It's available for some 12 bucks by now. As a fan of CT I'd rate it 5/5. A more objective rating would achieve 4/5. Recommended.

A very good review btw. - informative and funny. :-)

I ended up buying 150 of these BPs. Now I'm left wondering what to do with 150 AT-AT commanders.

Are those Snowtroopers or Snowtrooper Commanders?
