Posted December 18, 200915 yr Okay, so they don't want to continue the Pirate theme for more than a year... but of the two waves of Lego games, it's the only theme that features in both??? I'm curious about the little miniminifigs there... what are they made up of? Judging by how big the pirate hat looks on the captain, they heads aren't normal minifig sized heads, which is a shame because they could have introduced more pirate heads that way. I think I will get this game, just so that my Pirate collection can have a faction of lilliputian pirates. I wonder the MOC potential is for these MMFs... December 18, 200915 yr This looks fantastic - I wish these will come to Australia. Cute game and looks fun to play with.

December 18, 200915 yr Governor Okay, so they don't want to continue the Pirate theme for more than a year... but of the two waves of Lego games, it's the only theme that features in both??? It appears these games don't use LEGO Pirates branding or any of the newer Pirate and Soldier mini-figures. I suspect this game and The Pirate Code are independent of the actual Pirate theme. The Shop@Home website categorises The Pirate Code in the Exclusive & Hard to Find Items and I presume it will do the same for Pirate Plank. Meanwhile, all the Pirate sets (including the new Imperial Flagship) and merchandise are categorised under Pirates.
December 18, 200915 yr ... (including the new Imperial Flag ... Ship) (I assume ) Furthermore, I'd like to repeat my quote from another topic on these games: "Pirate Babies!!!" Edited December 18, 200915 yr by Rick
December 18, 200915 yr I will get one for sure The idea of a liliputian pirate faction make me thinking of the famous Zelda video game...
December 19, 200915 yr Author The microfigs from the games range are a single piece. So unfortunatly they don't offer that many mocing possibilities. :( So you can't swap the heads around to create new pirates? That's lame. What I mean is, there have been a lot of MOCs that feature miniature ships... these MMFs would be great for that scale. I think there will be a few Pillage The Village entries next year that feature them. When they come out, I've got dibs on a Gullivers Travels MOC... with Gulliver being tied to the ground by lilliputian pirates.
December 21, 200915 yr Should the 2x2 tiles with the skull could be a sticker or a print? I hope a print.
December 22, 200915 yr Those are the same micro minifigs that I've seen people use as babies in MOCs. I believe they said they come from video game legos sets? Something like that. And now I've seen them use them in the boardgame games. I think they have them in the pyramid gameboard. I want to buy this set. When I go to the Lego shop online...or as you guys like to call it "Shop at Home" I see no gameboard sets and they definitely don't have this or the pyramid game. I guess they haven't come out yet for US? Edited December 22, 200915 yr by Grimmy
