I know that the whole space to ground battle is being made into a new Battlefront game but that is only on the PSP, and I have seen that leaked gameplay long before you showed it, I think that that game will only be available for the PSP

Listen guys the footage that was on youtube is from Free Radical a company that is now CrytekUK so chances are that the stuff you saw on the video might not happen.

While I was not a fan of the first two, this one looks much better because it is more story-driven, unlike 1 and 2 which were simply for multiplayer use. It appears from the footage that you play a lot of the game as a main character, apparently a clone trooper. I like the addition of a lot of vehicles, including Slave I and A-Wings. The gameplay looks greatly improved, both on the ground and skies. The ability to go from flying in orbit to in space looks incredible. While this footage was leaked a while ago and the game is going to change, it looks promising.

And Darth Sion, just because it isn't posted on the official Star Wars site doesn't mean it isn't real. In the video game/movie industry, most things are unofficially announced and leaked before they are given the big announcement. And the footage looks pretty real to me. While the quality is bad, the gameplay is different enough where it would be really hard to change BF 2 around a little bit. How do you explain the new ships and such? Just because LA hasn't released a statement doesn't mean it isn't going to happen. Don't be so pessimistic. You don't have to shoot everybody down and try to crush their hopes.

Dont mean to burst you bubbles guys but that gameplay footage was from Free Radical which went into admistration about 8-9 months ago.

But the conformation link is real, And plus if anyone watches G4 (a video game channel on DirecTV) it has been confirmed but its going to be renamed Star Wars Empire At War: Forces of Corruption.

So what, it's still the same game, why so negative, it's just a rename.

Empire at War: Forces of Corruption came out three years ago and was a totally different game from Battlefront. It was an RTS expansion pack.

But why would they rename it to an existing name?

I don't have a PS3 or 360 so I hope it will come out on the Wii(I doubt it) Instead I do have a PSP so maybe it will come out on that as well.

I dont think it will come out on PSP. They just released a battlefront that is specifically for the DS and PSP.

The last game under Lucasarts is Battlefront 3, now we can't be sure that this is real or not, so don't get your hopes up, but we can all hope.

Recently I found something on the GameSpy website, I think it is fake but I hope it isn't.

The GameSpy website somewhere had some rumors about Star Wars Battlefront III, but just about the platforms it may be released for, I believe.

The game may even be released for the PS2, and hopefully this will come out.

I really hopoe this is true. i love the Battlefront series, but I don't want to buy a PSP just for Renegade and Elite squadron. i hope that this one will have all the features seen in the latest game.

Ahh, So many cool SW games coming out!

Great news but I will wait until we know a lot more about this before I get too excited. I just hope if and when the game comes out it will include bigger maps with some great places where I can sniper people. I have had so many kills through snipering in Hoth and wish I could do as good in other places too.

Proven fact: Repeating the same thing over and over expect diferent results is a sign of insanity .

It is a rumor, it has not yet been confirmed who the developer will be. The article only stated that further rumors have pointed to Free Radical becoming the developer, which it will not. Nothing has been confirmed yet, so we'll have to wait and see what happens next.

That article has been there for a while already, too.

I'm just a little antsy because every game I like has uncertain futures (Spore, STO, Battlefront, etc..). Star Trek Online which is a game I like has an extreme amount of trolling on their forums which can get me a little accusing.

Let's just hope it's coming out .
