Aredhel Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Hi everybody! This is my first review! ;) I am a great fan of the Harry Potter sets. As there where many reviews of the new sets from Harry Potter part 4, I decided to make a review of the really great Knightbus. I know this is not the most recent set, but nonetheless a nice one. I got this set from Apo for christmas and it has very great pieces and details. Where to start? First of all a picture of the whole set: The bus is divided into 4 parts which show the 3 levels of "sleeping rooms" Overall view of the bus First level: In this level Harry tries to "travel" with the knighbus. In this picture you can see the drivers cabin (in this set it is not Ernie who drives the bus, but his assistant Stan Shunpike). Here you can see the "back room" of the bus. There is one bed in every level. The bottom: Here you can see a very nice detail: At the window is the shrunkhead print. Second level: Whole part of the second level The front with the sign: "Knight Bus" Third level: Here you can see the back sign "Knight Bus" Details: This now is a picture of the parts which do not belong to the bus itself: You can see Harry, the dog he saw when the bus arrived, his luggage, Hedwig the owl, Stan, a streetlamp and a plant. The three beds: The set contains two minifigs: First of all of course Harry Potter... ...and second: Stan Shunpike: Hope you enjoy this review ;) More pictures at my gallery! Comments are welcome! ;) Quote

snefroe Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 that's a great review! :oD it's a nice model, but i'm not a fan of HP. there were also problems with the colors. i believe some sets had different colors of purple, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, so i guess you're lucky! i like the lamp post. but do i see this right? there are no seats in the bus? Aredhel Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 i like the lamp post. but do i see this right? there are no seats in the bus? Yes, in this bus there aren't any seats. It is a bus for wizards to travel. It is like a little motel on wheels ;) Quote
ApophisV Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 i believe some sets had different colors of purple, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, so i guess you're lucky! There is only one purple part that doesn't fit to the rest of the purple, a 4x4 plate: The rest of the purple parts was consistent! *satis* Quote
KimT Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Nice review - I wasn't aware that the bus was able to be split... nice feature. Also those purple bricks are cool. Great work. Now to find it on sale :/ KimT Quote
