Tony, I didn't realise you brought your knife along. Better safe than sorry - at least until it was locked away. :sceptic:

This storm is quite choppy isn't it. We may not have paid for the most expensive tour but I would have at least thought the captain of the ferry could handle.. oh but I don't mean to be rude, I'm sure he's doing his best in this weather.

I wouldn't let the captain of this ferry anywhere near my tiller, that's for sure! Talk about taking it rough! :hmpf:

The storm quickly dissipates and the seas calms. The clouds part to reveal a very bright full moon. The view of Devil's Island in the distance is very peaceful.

Darling, we are almost there. Looks like we will have some peaceful time for our remaining journey. Let's hope we don't miss anything.

So do I, Wow, the moon is beautiful, makes one remember earlier times. *sigh* Oh, My I nearly missed the devil Island, It looks mystic in the blue glow of the full Moon...

*Ominous music plays*

Well, I too am glad the skies have cleared. And look at that moon! Even after travelling the world, it's nice to still be able to enjoy the simple sights like that of a full moon.

*As the ferry approaches the island, the passengers of the MOTEE tour collectively hold their breath as they momentarily see dark shapes moving along the shore. Further inspection reveals that it is the bright moonlight casting shadows on trees lightly blowing in the breeze and reflecting off of a thin layer of low-lying fog.

The ferry drifts slowly into the harbor and docks at the port.

In only a few moments, the bus takes off for the temple ruins of Phasma Diabolus, leaving a departing ferry in the distance...*

Goodness, with all the talk of specters and shades, I could have sworn that those shadows were something dreadful, but it was just mundane, I hope *gulp*

Well, we're finally on the Island! The view is breath taking, *nervous chuckle*

I must say I'm glad to be back on land. Though I'll be delighted to get off this bus and take a look around. I'm anxious to see some of the ancient buildings. We will be seeing some, won't we?

*Snort* A whozzah!? Oh, we're on land. Great. The best part of the trip is already over, and I didn't even get to go outside. :hmpf_bad:

Boy, those shadows sure give'm the shivers. I ain't never felt that way, no'n, not even in the war, no suh.

...

Are we there yet? Hm? 'n. Mmm.

Penny, dearest, what do ya want ta see? To be honest, I'm startin' to get a little tired of the ding-bats we were stuck on a bus on. Yo, driver fellow, can we get off and see the old ruined stuff yet, or are we stuckk in this torture chamber for a longer period o' time.

Like, it's not like we're on a highway here. It takes a while to get to the ruins. Notice we're on more of a rocky trail than a highway. It's not like we're on a highway here. Did I already say that? Anyway, it takes about an hour to get there from here.

*Hector slams on the brakes as a large dark shadow darts across the road. Stanton falls out of his seat onto the floor. The bus sits for a moment as everyone recovers from the shock.*

Whoa dudes. Like, sorry. Anybody see that? Like a leopard or something, huh?

$50 in cash and a handjob for the man who skins it and brings me the pelt! I'd like a new fur stole.

I hear that kind of trade is legal out here in the Colonies  I mean the fur trade, not the handjob.

Land ho! Now, where the hell is that sailor???

Are we there yet? I am itching to take some relevant photos for my next gallery showing. All I see are shadows everywhere.....oh get off me Sheldon! I thought that implement was outlawed at the Geneva convention.
