The only thing I don't like is the fact that the first floor doesn't mesh with the colors of the two upper floors. The purple wall with red and lime and orange details is beautiful, but it also makes the grey and white and blue walls look very drab in contrast and feel like they belong in two different buildings. So the color palette is not cohesive, but as individual floors, each of them is perfect.

Well exactly! In this case the color shouldn't fit as the 'original' building should be the same colors as the upper floors.

Therefore, it turned later into a candy store, and Elladora decided to give this floor it's purple...

THIS IS STUNNING! It's my favorite modular building I've seen! I can't even express how much I love it! Everything is perfect. This should absolutely get featured on the front page. I just spent about an hour looking at the pictures.

I <3 purple! That looks lovely and would fit right into any of the old city districts. It reminds me of the city centers around me. Old building with a modernised facade.

of the table and radio as well, took me two days to figure it out...

This is great. I'd love to see an .LXF of this so I could really turn it around and zoom in up close. A camera can only do so much.

(I know that usually LDD doesn't look as good as physical bricks... especially before I modify them in photoshop, but I love looking these things over and exploring them like a fly on the wall.)

A truly fantastic building! I love all the details, and the sweetshop interior is perfect. I like the old-fashioned radio on the second floor too.

I am not so keen on the purple, but the roof and spire are very good.

The inside of the sweet shop is simply brilliant.

I also like your other buildings. Very inspiring.

Good lord this place is ridiculous! I love it! The amount of purple is just Willy Wonka to the extreme.

Have you thought of a Flickr account though? That would be easier for displaying these pictures I would think.

Whoa, this is amazing! The attention to detail is incredible. And you have nailed that old-style sweetshop interior feel with your shelves and bottles. Cutting up flex hose was a good way to make small lollies. And that piano is ingenious.

Geezus! The amount of detail in the shop alone is just ridiculous. Great work!

I'm not a big fan of Brickshelf though.. There's always the few hours or a day

For me, the interior is the highlight - the candy store on the ground floor is truly magnificent. The outside is somewhat reminiscent of Cafe Corner; interesting to see purple bricks used to make a modular building, although for me the colours are a bit painful on the eye I have to admit !

I can't wait to see this alongside your other buildings.

You've made another jaw-dropping MOC, Jasper! It's truly a sight to behold.

I love every part of it, especially the beautiful sweet shop interior (tons of stuff packed into there without a overwhelming feel)!

If they would describe the sweetshop from Harry Potters Hogsmeade, I would think of something like this.

Pity the official legoversion of it, was a very small add-on to the shrieking shack.

Ok, up to the attick. This is actually not finished yet, as a pair of stairs still has to be fitted to it.

It has to be one of those stairs you can take down from the ceiling. Don't know the exact term for this.

In Dutch it's called Vliezo trap (don't know it's a product name or the real name).

Beautiful creation, the interior of the candy store is absolutely astonishing! The plad table on the second floor and piano along with the picture on the buildings wall are also very nice touches.
