those molds look really cool.:pir-classic: Is it easy to paint them in the correct colors?

The colour on the picture is the delivered color Limestone.

It can be easily painted with acrylic colours

I've uploaded a gun and a swivel gun pack:

http://www.shapeways.com/model/96189/5_x_swivel_gun.html

http://www.shapeways.com/model/91096/6_x_guns.html

additionally there's a new material called aluminide which is white and flexible with aluminium dusk in it. It's grey with metallic. I will test that soon, because that maybe is an additional colour for helmets or other metal parts.

That's my current proposal:

The cylinder is placable on a stud, allowing also to have different positions.

The complete set would be:

- if there is an item of big interest I will take an attempt to make a quick shot design (if it's feasible for 3d printing)

as in a cannonball? not a bad idea... though what I really want is a cannon that doesn't cost $8 a piece

Hey Woody64, I'm just wondering: would it be possible to create cannons of different sizes? Like 36pdr, 24pdr and 8pdr long guns? :pir-classic:

Like seen in this pic:

170px-Hull_model_by_Augustin_Pic_mp3h9729.jpg

Also since there is now a swivel gun design of yours: how about a carronade? :pir-tongue:

I haven't thought about using custom guns so far; however your napoleonic gun really looks sweet and I've seen it's available in black so that there is no painting needed! :pir-sweet:

However for a 74 gunner 76*8$ is a bit scary... :pir-cry_sad:

Still could afford a few guns for a small MOC like a cross section...

Keep up the good work; I haven't seen better custom cannons so far!

In the 6x pack it's a little bit less expensive: ($5.2)

http://www.shapeways.com/model/91096/6_x_guns.html

Yes it's possible to make the guns in all sizes. For example the napoleonic can be resized to any size.

Unfortunately the price is dependent from the used material.

Would be interesting which design you would propose for the different guns.
