Does anyone have ideas on how to make tle clones look battle damaged?

They look rather plain in the white armor(I know I can put decals).

If you have mud around your house then take a little bit an really rub it in and it will look good if you do it right. Don't worry water fixes everything.

I found some types of ash work too. Can't remember which though, so you should go with brickme's idea instead. Some ash takes ages to come off. :sceptic:

Led zePPelin, just because you are a hard classic rock fan does not mean you have to answer everything like that. (But in all seriousness Stairway to Heaven is the best song ever made :cry_happy::wub: ).

I like the mud idea, I tried it with limited success, probably because I was doing it wrong. :sceptic:

What's wrong with burning them a little? It was a serious suggestion. They wear plastic armour and have hot blobs of gas fired at them, surely they'll get a little charred...

 Burning... probably not. Maybe a little singeing.

I do remember that someone on EB made a 'damaged' Rebel pilot helmet a while ago. Maybe try a seach? I remember it was very cool.

Another idea is biting them.

Well, if you have: eg an animal, a puppy would be the best, then let them do the battle damaging. They tend to bight the hardest!

Heh, no. I'm not letting my LEGO anywhere NEAR my puppies.

Normally to make BD I just get a hammer and a nail and scratch it up a lot then use the nail to make a small hole in the helmet.

A NAIL AND HAMMER? Thats about worse than burning them.

ummm... No I did that when I tried to make a zombie power miner and it worked perfectly!

Use a heated mini-screwdriver and press on the part of the armour that you want dented.

as for burns, as suggested before, use a pen which has "smudge-able" ink and just put a bit on the minifig and use a wee bit of tissue to smudge it up.
