Here are two of my most recent MOCs; a Western Star Tractor Trailer, and a CAT Feller-Buncher.

Let's start with the truck. While unusual, for this MOC, I didn't have a particular model in mind. I haven't built any trailers for it yet, but I'm planning to build a logging trailer.

Next, I built a CAT Feller-Buncher. Feller-Bunchers are machines that are used in the logging industry. They are used to cut down the trees to be hauled away.

Great job.

Those 2 items really remind me of that Discovery World series called "American Loggers". All you need is a skidder, a dragline (to help with the recovery of trucks that tipped over) and a trailer for the truck and you pretty much capture the whole idea.

Clever use of the minifig seats in the truck mudguards!

Both are well-designed, and the Caterpillar is much better than the official construction sets. Nice hydraulic cylinders by the way.

This is the type of machine I like, and the truck!

Very slick and it can be seen that you invested some time in this!

Truck is beautiful, nice fenders idea, lines are great, I would make the hood a little bit higher, perhaps.

Cat is also very nice, you could post a image of the real machine, tracks are nice and realistic, arm is very good, and if these ropes are hydraulic hoses, then it is a great idea!

I just found that CAT looks better on your second picture, than on first, because of that black cooling grills...they look much better and tidier at second picture!

Nice job!

Thanks!

Originally, I was going to build one of their trucks, but I couldn't find many pictures of them, so I decided to just build a generic one.

Thanks, Milan. I thought you'd like it

Two really nice MOCs. The black truck looks pretty menacing. Downside to black is that it doesn't really come across well on photos. I just don't like it when the underside of bricks or plates is on the outside of a MOC. The 'F-B' looks pretty nice as well. I like how you've incorporated those two 'rounded' slopes on the front. The only thing I don't really like about this is the solution you used for the pistons, it looks - and probably is - a little flimsy. But other than that: you've created two really good-looking pieces of machinery.

I assume you're talking about the bumper. I actually like how the bumper turned out, though I could have made it a tile.

Yeah, they're kind of flimsy, though I do tend to go for looks over function.
