Hello I'm Alec, I've just joined Eurobricks. I've been collecting Lego for a long time, when I was a kid mainly space and town sets. At the time I thought it would be great if they brought out some Star Wars Lego, so naturally I was quite pleased some years later when it became a reality. Recently I have been collecting some of the pirate sets I was hoping to get back in 1989 but didn't quite have the budget for at the time. Better late than never.

I haven't really been following the Lego community on the Internet so I've been pleasantly surprised at the scale of the resources available and the scale of some of the creations out there. I'll try and post some images of a few things I've been working on when I get a chance.

Welcome at Eurobricks!

Like yourself, I started collecting (most of) the old pirate sets 15 years after their original release.

Thank you, I have discovered these, and BrickLink has been very handy, although less kind to my bank balance

Welcome to the forums.

www.bricklink.com catalog and buy or sell parts/sets/figs, any LEGO

www.brickset.com Great for categorizing your sets and figs

www.peeron.com Another great resource for parts/cataloging

Those 3 sites are my bread and butter, besides EB of course.

Welcom to the Forums!
