Rick Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thanks for the pictures! I hope you don't mind that I've already posted some images from Brickshelf in various topics. Looks like TLG is releasing a new minifig-based racing theme Quote
Sergiu Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 The 2010 sets seem quite impressive, especially the City and Technic ones. I like very much the Excavator, which looks like it will be completely motorized, the Mobile Crane is also nice although I don't think it'll be as impressive as the 8421 Mobile Crane. Thanks for sharing! Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Great job! Thanks for this man! Yay! I see new "Bionicles"! Quote

Anders Nolberger Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you! Realy good pictures of the new trains. I like them a lot! Quote
Tinn-man Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I love you. ( ) But seriously, thanks for uploading these. I'm loving those trains, atlantis, and space police more and more. Quote
Christian Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you! This is very kind of you. I just have one small request, if it is not to much (I know we already have had much). Can you perhaps scan some bigger pictures of the new Space Police and Atlantis sets? Quote
Siegfried Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Can you perhaps scan some bigger pictures of the new Space Police and Atlantis sets? ...yeah... and the technic ones too! Thanks very much in any case though. Quote
WhiteFang Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you and thank you!!! Will love to see the upcoming Castle sets! It's breathless. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thanks for the pics! Are there any bigger shots of the sets on further pages? I'm looking forward to more pictures, especially Star Wars . Quote
Disturbia Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Summer Space police and Atlantis look awesome...thanks for sharing with us Is that the Bionicle replacement line I see? Well, aren't they odd... Quote
Matn Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Although I would have liked to wait on some high-res pictures, the sets look awesome. I'm usually not a fan of speculation months before the release of the sets, but they look very nice. The sets actually look all very nice, it'll be a nice and expensive year. Especially City (beautiful trains, nice LEGO truck), Castle (very classic) and Atlantis (city + underwater base) looks awesome. I just wonder if everything will fit on the shelves! Glad I've seen them and now we all have to wait a long time before we can buy them. Quote
Tereglith Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thanks for the pictures, the summer lineup looks amazing! We're getting bases galore! The Space Police Station , the diver's base, Atlantis itself! And a replacement for Bionicle confirmed, as well as the first pictures of Kingdoms! I'm not sure I can take all of this at once! Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 And one more thing- I hope new racers means New Lego Racer game! Because sets looks soo "gameish"- Rockets, big shiny cups, traps... Quote

-The Hyphen- Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 So Lego really did change the name of Castle. Somehow, I saw it coming... That being said, I really like the looks of this new theme. For one, there are two human factions, rather than the human vs. skeletons/trolls/whatever conflicts we saw in the Fantasy theme. From what I can see, the sets look good, and the minifigs looks even better. (the one faction almost reminds me of the Crusaders or the Royal Knights) And both factions get their own castle! Yes... This just might be good. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Oh god, I am so broke. New castle that is more castley than the current fantasy stuff (I do not want so many war machines I want castles bits) a racers series that looks awesome? TRAINZ. Add to that Atlantis, PoP, Toy Story, Power Miners, SPIII and collectable minifigs? Looks like I am going to have to make a strict budget for my Lego purchasing spread out over a year (instead of current: Splurge every wave, little sets inbetween) or else I will be so broke. Also space issues... Ima going to have to get my sorting hat on and start working out what to do to make more space... Lego, my anti-drug, anti-drink and by the seemings of it, anti-going-out-socialy. Quote
Big Cam Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 WOOT!!!, those impulse sets for the Kingdomm theme are exactly what i wanted, and it's good to get confirmation about the 2010 star wars sets. Holy cow am I excited! Quote
Christian Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I'm really sorry, but this is everything I can show you. The catalog is back to the store. The scans are made by Jelle Bakker, he only scanned the sets of his interest. I received a mail from Jelle with all the pictures he scanned, and I upload it on the internet. The pictures have been removed from Brickshelf, you can only see them at Flickr Ok, perhaps we've also seen more than enough for one day Quote
Rick Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Ok, perhaps we've also seen more than enough for one day I agree, these should be more dosed. I'm overly excited now. Maybe it would be a nice marketing strategy for TLG to make a advent calendar of next year's sets/themes every December. Actually I think that could create a small hype around Lego every December. Quote
Wout Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you for the pics. I laughed about the lego truck with little legosets for minifigchilds. I also saw a Hogwarts boardgame. Quote
ziljin Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 The kingdom sets look great. Looks like I am going to have to spend hundreds of dollars on them. Quote
Corvus Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Ooh, wow. Three new Atlantis and Space Police sets. Two new themes. Atlantis: Can't tell what the giant red thing is, but it's going to be absolutely amazing. Space Police: SP base? Ooh, yes. Is this the return of the old classic space moonbases? I doubt it, but it's nice to hope. World Racers: I love it. It's crazy and so post-apocalyptic. There are a few annoyances, such as giant Bionicle launchers, but it's otherwise good as far as I can tell. In any case, it's nice to see minifigs returning to Racers. Kingdom: I love it. It's so classic and yet so refreshing. I love the new helmet. Having both human factions is also very cool. New-wave Bionicle: I'll wait... we'll see if it's same ol', same ol'. Lego, my anti-drug, anti-drink and by the seemings of it, anti-going-out-socialy. Social life? I've already given it up. What else is left to get rid of...? School! Quote
