Admiral Red-Hair Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) Hey! I´m new to Eurobricks Forum and pretty new to building Pirate theme aswell. I´m currently making a ship, even thought the progress of it have been slow... But back to topic, here is my Red-Coat army which I hope to expand. The army consists of my sigfig (the one in front with the cool red hair, therefor the name, Admiral Red-Hair), 8 lieutenants, 47 soldiers and 27 deckmans. They will all serve on my ship which I´m currently building - hopefully it will soon be finished so they can set sail and conquer the seas. Mowahaha! I´d like to post more images, however, I can´t figure out how to do . So if anyone could tell me how to upload pictures I would be grateful. Thanks in advance and enjoy the picture I managed to upload, even though the photo isn´t the best - sorry for that. Regards// Admiral Red-Hair Edited December 23, 2009 by Admiral Red-Hair Quote

If your interested in learning how to post thumbnail pictures this tutorial is a great help. Many thanks to you aswell, hopefully I´ll lern to master this aswell. So far your armies are looking nice. Hopefully you could expand it some more Yeah, that´s my intention - to aquire more soldiers... and then take over the world. Mowahaha! Here are some more pictures (crossing my fingers and hope it will work): A picture showing the deckmans. Close up on the deckmans. Think they turned out pretty decent... The soldiers. Here you can see 4 of the lieutenants with their fancy hats. And at last, the picture you all have been waiting for... Without further ado, let me present .. .. my sigfig, Admiral Red-Hair. Rick Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 .. my sigfig, Admiral Red-Hair. Now where would have gotten the inspiration for such a sigfig? Quote
Admiral Red-Hair Posted December 23, 2009 Author Posted December 23, 2009 Now where would have gotten the inspiration for such a sigfig? Yeah, it´s somewhat like Captain Green Hair and Blue Hair. However, there are some fundamental differences; I´m a Admiral while they are Captains and I´m red haired while they are green and blue haired. Also, in my opinion, they both are some of the finest ship builders out there so this is also a way for me to honor them. Anyway, when I come up with the idea for my sigfig I really didn´t had any name for it (just the look) and first after I finished it I decided to name it Admiral Red-Hair. Therefor the look isn´t (atleast not with purpose) based on their names and sigfigs, but the name is. Regards// Admiral Red-Hair Quote
Rick Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Yeah, it´s somewhat like Captain Green Hair and Blue Hair. They're one and the same. Captain Green Hair changed his name for the Red vs. Blue tournament of retribution. Also, in my opinion, they both are some of the finest shipbuilders out there so this is also a way for me to honor them. ... and bluecoats and pirates need some healthy competition Quote

Captain Green Hair changed his name for the Red vs. Blue tournament of retribution.... and bluecoats and pirates need some healthy competition Are they the same person? Didn´t know that. And bluecoats and pirates will have to look up when my ship is finished - it will be pretty big... However, as it seems now it will be some time until I´ve finished it, need to aquire some parts before I can continue working on it. But later this month I hope I´ll be able to post some WIP photos of the ship. Quote
General Armendariz Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Yeah, that´s my intention - to aquire more soldiers... and then take over the world. Mowahaha! Hmm, that will be hard to do when the French are in your way Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Hmm, that will be hard to do when the French are in your way I don't know they already look surrounded by redcoats in that picture The way you can tell Captain Green Hair and Captain Blue Hair are the same person is that he always has the same black heart! Captain Green Hair Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 So the Redcoat admirals look like cartoon figures now? Quote
Joey Lock Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 So the Redcoat admirals look like cartoon figures now? His not a commissioned Admiral though, No ship, No Navy. Mabye his just here to mock the Bluecoats tendencies of hair dying... Quote
martinsuper Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Hmmmm, looks like someone went to town with Cannon Battles.... Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 There are quite some admirals and captains on this forum, including a green one. A red one wasn't in the collection yet, so welcome! Till now your army is impressive, I'm jealous at your collection. I have only a few soldiers myself. Unfortunately I have to say your attempt to occupy the world is a big problem in your path. Indeed, the French are here. I don't have that much soldiers, but a nice navy. Welcome to the club, have fun and keep expanding your army! Quote
