Meca-one: Legs or no legs?

Well, i heard that set Striking Venom has Meca-one, but without legs.

I still bought the set, coz i liked it.

It had legs for Meca-one. Mind telling me why?

Because the box shot shows (in one place I recall) him with legs. Thus TLG received complaints galore and ended up sending out "replacements" even though it was not the intention.

It would seem that the latter copies had them added.

I remember! I got that set a few years a go and was devastated that he had no legs, clearly depicted on the box. Since I got it pretty quickly after it came out, they were able to send me replacement legs.

TLG learned their lesson though. In the mobile devastator, they provided legs for the two silver captains even though they had to take them off, so the legs could be moved into a corner area of the ship.

I guess they changed the later versions because they probably received hundreds or more complaints.

I forget if they had legs in the Bridge Walker or not. I would go check except my set was destroyed in a terrible accident... I don't like to go in to details but it involved the end of all of my Exo-Force sets, as well as half of my old video cabinet.

I guess im pretty lucky that i didn't bought it earlier...

Legolas...I think i know how you feel. (Except my videocloset wasn't destroyed, only all my bionicles)
