The book is with hardcover

I could write a lot about this book, but I think its better to post some pictures (pictures sometimes says more than words)

The book is full of very nice illustrations of starships, locations and more. the book covers all the 6 episodes of the movies, each episoode has its own chapter.

I think the book will be rather usefull if you plan to build big Star Wars MOCS or need inspiration.

well here is some pics:

Nice overview of the books contents

legobog006.jpg

planet overview

legobog007.jpg

naboo overview

legobog008.jpg

and this is what its all about: very detailed illustrated with lots of comments and explanations

a very nicely detailed Theed hanger illustration.

legobog009.jpg

and its get better there are several pages that is folded so when you fold them out the illustrations cover 4 pages

Mos Espa arena

legobog010.jpg

chapter batlle of Geonosis

shows the vehicles and forces used by the republic

legobog012.jpg

and the seperatists

legobog013.jpg

overview of the Curuscant batlle

legobog015.jpg

every chapter/episode has a picture from the movie (this is the chapter i like the most :-)

legobog016.jpg

and again you can flip the pages so the entire illustration is 4 pages

legobog017.jpg

legobog018.jpg

at the end of the book a good index

legobog020.jpg

this is an awesome book, havent read the text at all the illustrations does all the work. My son have spent hours watching the illustations and i must admit i have done that to. so its a book both adults and kids can enjoy therefore i will rate it 10/10 if you like the pictures go buy the book, you wont regret.

found mine used cheap at amazon.com, but can be bought from new at several online stores who ships to every part of the world like ww.buecher.de eur23.95 and bookstore.co.uk £ 24.99

hope you find this small review usefull.

This surely looks like a great source for making dioramas.

Thanks for doing this small review for us

That was the other topic in which the book was mentioned, this is the review.

Look not for the other topic, as it is no more.

This is a great book and nice review.

Unfortunately, I bought the Ep 1, the Ep 2 one and the Ep 4, 5 & 6 one before this was released. They never made another separate book for ROTS so I haven't seen those pages.

If you could take some nice big pics of the ROTS pages, they'd be much appreciated.

This looks like a really great book. The cross sections in the book look awesome and really detailed

One quibble though, why has this been posted in the Lego Star Wars forum? Shouldn't it be in the culture & multimedia section?

Good review, and a very nice book, I also have it.

Especially the illustrations of such complex buildings as the Jedi temple are stunning with loads of details and small rooms. Echo bas is very good too and I think the Ice Cutter vehicle from the new battlepack is visible there somewhere.

watched the empire strikes back some days ago and the icecutter is actually in the movie. in the scene where the rebels are getting resady for the batlle just outside the base you can see it in a second or two.

This is a great book--I like it more than Complete Cross-Sections, just because more of these locations are things I would try to build into a diorama. The cross-sections has more of the mechanics that would be hidden within anything I'd build anyway. Complete Locations is well worth the $.

Does it have a picture of the medalceremony held at Yavin IV?

And if so, could you please share it with us?

sorry, only a picture of the whole Yavin temple, but you can see the ceremony room in top of the building. Hope you find the picture usefull, maybe you can use some of the wall details for your MOC

and a "close up" of the ceremony room
