Posted January 1, 201015 yr I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that the Trains & Town forum (including Train Tech) had the highest number of topic views in 2009. That means we beat Pirates! Special thanks to WhiteFang, Dave, Hinckley, and Shadows (and others if I missed them) for maintaining Classic-Town.net, which I'm sure has drawn a number of viewers to the forum. And a big THANK YOU to all of the Trains & Town fans who continue to share image reviews and post interesting topics related to trains & town. So on behalf of T&T, Happy New Year! Let's make 2010 even better. EDIT: Oh, and I almost forgot to mention our fellow Global Moderators who continue to make sure T&T topics and the forum run smoothly.
January 1, 201015 yr I think there's one special person who deserves a big "THANKS" first and foremost: - TheBrickster - Thank you for giving the T&T such a big boost with TrainTech! And with all the great train sets coming out this year I'm sure T&T will do well in 2010, too.
January 1, 201015 yr Congratulations! My two favorite fora ranked 1st and 2nd (Trains & Town and Pirates). Thanks for your share in moderating the forum, but also thanks to all the other 'townies', both staff and other EB members! Edited January 1, 201015 yr by Rick
January 1, 201015 yr A great thanks to all the staff guys for your effort and contribution and for making our favorite theme's forum the best place to be! As a citizen of the T&T Forum I do feel proud for being a humble inhabitant in here and happy because this section of Eurobricks was the reason for finally being pulled out from dark ages. Townees, the future is ours! ..or to put it more simple: "One Ring Theme to rule them all! Thanks again!
January 1, 201015 yr Congratulations everybody, and especially the T&T staff team for their wonderful job!
January 1, 201015 yr Yay for T&T! Suck it Licensed - you didn't even make the Top 10 - in your face! Oh... wait.... Seriously, what a great result. Everyone always assumes that SW takes the lead, but it's so nice to see that a classic theme like Town still outguns it in terms of overall enthusiasm from AFOLs. The mix of great releases from LEGO blends well with the solid respect and detailed examination we give to past sets and subthemes in this forum
January 1, 201015 yr Yay! T&T is definitely my favourite forum even if I'm not quite as active in it as other forums. Thanks to all the staff who help keep it in tip-top shape.
January 2, 201015 yr Author I think there's one special person who deserves a big "THANKS" first and foremost: Thanks so much for that H. (and I never got a wave before) You guys made it happen.
January 2, 201015 yr Thanks so much for that H. (and I never got a wave before) You guys made it happen. Modesty is nice and all, but I think it easy to see the dedication you have shown to the Train Tech forum. We may have made it happen, but you made it possible. Thanks.
January 2, 201015 yr Woot!!! Trains and Town are coming at ya with a vengeance in 2010! And seriously Brickster...thanks for keeping us moving forward this year with many insightful topics and great MOC's. You also held up Classic-Town.net for awhile when the rest of us were...ummm...MIA. You rock!!! -Dave
January 3, 201015 yr Pirates will strike back in 2010... Well done Train Tech, all the best in the future, may we continue to input into the future of LEGO trains.
January 3, 201015 yr Pirates will strike back in 2010... Well, it will now that town and train tech have been made into separate themes!
January 3, 201015 yr Woo hoo!! What an excellent piece of great news to start the New Year!!! Thanks to my fellow EB Staff and Classic-Town.net bloggers to make it possible! Let's look forward to a great year ahead of us.
January 4, 201015 yr Wave for Brickster! Yaaaay! We'll have to work hard to keep this up in 2010, especially now that Town & Train have been separated... (sorry for the belated congrats, I've tried to keep myself away from PCs these last few days )
January 4, 201015 yr As in, ? Couldn't resist Those kneeling emoticons sure look like SW fans to me though... And the dark red king guy bears a striking resemblance to a certain Johnson-rod-wielding troublemaker...
January 4, 201015 yr You will all bow before my might when the new Ben 10/ Galidor forum launches Good Luck with that. I can see a lot of posting to yourself if you want to rival the power and might of Trains and Town Edited January 4, 201015 yr by peterab
