DutchTreat Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Hello all, I'm DutchTreat from (you might have guessed), the Netherlands. After putting the Lego away many years ago, my interest in Lego is back. It restarted with some impulse purchases of Star Wars lego and finding all these wonderfull Star Wars MOC's on the internet... But then, I found Eurobricks among others with all those very very great pirate, Island, City, castle etc MOC's. And OMG things have changed! The leftover sets i have, are all from the classic space theme, nothing fancy, nothing SNOTty (also new to me). I am really amazed by the creativity people use to make, with all the new Lego bits and pieces (which i'm not even knew the existence of). So here I am, with all those questions: What theme do I like most, What set(s) should I start with (or maybe buy some kg's of 2nd hand) and What do I want to build first :) Any tips, idea's appreciated! Greetings, Dutch Quote

DutchTreat Posted January 3, 2010 Author Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Thanks all for your replies The "Building Techniques Tutorials and more" as pointed out, is a good place to begin! As of my specific interest: For now i kinda like different themes, especially after seeing the pirate / castle / island MOC's. Think i'll stick to that. The Star Wars themes are nice at there own, but do not offer great customization (imo). Oh, and nice to see follow dutch peeps around (anyone around 010?) Edited January 3, 2010 by DutchTreat Quote
