JCC1004 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Just because our governor is sadistic and has delusions of being a god doesn't mean that he's corrupt Call him whatever you'd like. He has serious issues that have hurt us and are strange. well he buys soda pop from us whenever he can aford it. I highly doubt that Alberts is drinking soda.
Quarryman Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I really think we shouldn't forget that this is the time of prohibition law when the Mafia is running the illegal liquor business, and yet one of us is openly drinking. Where does the town hobo Albert get the booze, I ask? Excuse me? Do you have any proof for whether I'm drinking this or that? It's only water, this darn scum situation has made booze impossible to get hold of. Alberts, where did you get that liquor? We'd all like to know. As stated above, it is not liquor, it's water.
hewkii9 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I am also suspicious of John Wilder. He seems to be angered when anyone attacks him, and tends to attack them back. A notable case of this was poor Leanne Willis, who pointed fingers at the police. John cast the final vote and got her convicted. Yesterday, he questioned me at least twice without me saying anything to him. And of course the whole "taking law into hands" ordeal was just ridiculous. Umm, excuse me? Leave my brother alone. He hasn't done anything to anyone that you haven't done as well. If memory serves, I cast the first vote for Leanne and you voted for her too. I agree, where is this booze coming from?"being a cop immedietaly makes me a townie, although that's what I am" Yes. Where is it coming from? Ryan I will have to inform you that private consumption, public consumption, personal manufacture and depravation of tolerance with collected regards to alcohol are all illegal within Stapleton. When we're through with the scum, I will have to imprison you for the rest of your natural life. Just kidding. Ooh, it was stupid of you to say that, brother, that second thing is the mafia equivalent of "things can't get worse" in action pictures. Personally I've always been suspicious of the Mayor, but that's completely unsubstantiated. God knows you can't trust my judgement.
Inconspicuous Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Umm, excuse me? Leave my brother alone. He hasn't done anything to anyone that you haven't done as well. If memory serves, I cast the first vote for Leanne and you voted for her too. Jeez, calm down! I already apologized for my illogical reasoning and mistakes. And people, can we actually assume it's alcohol? Many of the things in the pictures are often irrelevant. Next thing you know, you'll be claiming that he's hiding dead bodies in that garbage can.
Sandy Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 And people, can we actually assume it's alcohol? Many of the things in the pictures are often irrelevant. Next thing you know, you'll be claiming that he's hiding dead bodies in that garbage can. Sure, let's just ignore every hint and clue we are given and assume everyone's perfectly innocent in this whole town! Of course Alberts says it's water, he would be a fool to admit he is drinking actual alcohol. It doesn't mean he's telling the truth, though (when have you ever heard of a sober hobo, anyway?). The only way we can find out if he is lying or not is - gruesome as it sounds - convicting him. I find myself asking this again and again, but do you have a better suggestion? I'm still waiting for someone to come up with one, so I wouldn't have to cling to these minor bits of information we're given that might or might not be clues...
JimBee Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Excuse me? Do you have any proof for whether I'm drinking this or that? It's only water, this darn scum situation has made booze impossible to get hold of. As stated above, it is not liquor, it's water. And do you care to explain what's in that trash can? Many of the things in the pictures are often irrelevant. Never, EVER assume that. The second you do, the scum have already won. I understand you're new to the business, but learn this lesson good and early. Next thing you know, you'll be claiming that he's hiding dead bodies in that garbage can. Or weapons... Water! Yes, I carry a wine glass filled with water everywhere I go. And a trash can as well. Why would anyone suspect me, of all people, a bum, drinking when it is illegal? I wonder how I ended up on the streets? Forgive me for being blunt, but Ryan, you cannot be above the law. If it's the best course of action to vote you off today, then at the very least we'll be rid of a law-breaker.
Bob Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 You may all now vote. Once again, it will take 9 votes for a conviction. You have 72 hours left. Also, after confering with my Co-Host, I decided to get rid of the Night Action thing. It was his idea, after all.

Darth_Legois Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) It was his idea, after all. Don't pin your crap plans on me. So we will have night actions tonight? Trying to come up with a better plan then bobs in the event that no one is voted off. EDIT: In other words... we don't know yet. Edited January 4, 2010 by Darth_Legois
Sandy Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Am I the only one who feels himself quite insecure with an unstable Governator like that? Anyway, off to the voting business again... I sincerely hope we'll manage to convict a correct person this time, and not repeat the fiasco that was yesterday. I know I won't be changing my vote on a whim today. I vote: Ryan Alberts/Quarryman because he's a booze-consuming, trash-talking, under-the-radar-flying scumbag in my eyes.
Quarryman Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Anyway, off to the voting business again... I sincerely hope we'll manage to convict a correct person this time, and not repeat the fiasco that was yesterday. I know I won't be changing my vote on a whim today. And I know that voting me off won't be convicting a correct person, but this I think you know as well. And though it would probably lead to your own doom tomorrow if you manage to vote me off today I'm afraid that won't benefit neither the town nor me. So I guess there's no other way: Vote: Matthew Right / Sandy
Sandy Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 And I know that voting me off won't be convicting a correct person, but this I think you know as well. And though it would probably lead to your own doom tomorrow if you manage to vote me off today I'm afraid that won't benefit neither the town nor me. I'm sorry, but I don't know anything, I have no investigatory (or psychic) powers. And you are very misguided if you think I'm somehow the only one suspicious of you, or that I'm any kind of a mastermind behind the votings. Of course you would say I'm wrong and you are innocent, I wouldn't expect anything more from anyone playing this game. It's now a matter of if people will believe you. I think people are already done unvoting just because someone says they're not scum. You'll need something more concrete to convince people. As for me, my actions have already proven that I am on the side of this town. I have played all my cards to the table, I have nothing more to hide, and not a single person has managed to dig up more information about people during this game of life than I have. I might be erratic, loud-mouthed and brash, but a scumbag I ain't.

I don't think that pointing fingers non-stop and claiming that "you want a reaction" is going to get us very far. Let's put an end to your tricky game. Vote: Matthew Right / Sandy
Zapper Brick Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Yes, let's stop your game, DA. Vote: Right/Sandy
Sandy Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I don't think that pointing fingers non-stop and claiming that "you want a reaction" is going to get us very far. Newsflash: it already has! Without me, we wouldn't know that Mr. Willis could be our investigator or that Dr. Wilkerson might be our vigilante. So far, I am not solely responsible for any innocent getting convicted. If I'm wrong about Alberts, then you can start blaming me for misleading you, but before we know the truth about that, shouldn't we be chasing the real Mafia?! You ungrateful bastards...

Come on, really? Why should we be grateful for anything you have done, why should any of us be grateful to anyone? No scum have been convicted! The townies are virtually helpless, and you call us ungrateful? Vote: Matthew Right / Sandy

And what good did flushing out the investigator do? Contact them, tell them who to kill? No. The scum will have their killer and their blocker after both. Who does flushing out the vigilante and investigator benefit most? The mob.
Sandy Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 And what good did flushing out the investigator do? Contact them, tell them who to kill? No. The scum will have their killer and their blocker after both. Who does flushing out the vigilante and investigator benefit most? The mob. How was I supposed to know what their roles were? Besides, the whole point was that we did not to convict them because they revealed who they are, and we can avoid convicting them in the future as well. I wasn't the only one who was suspicious of them in the first place, even though I admit that I started the voting. And this is all assuming they were telling the truth, which we don't know either. By voting me out, you'll play right into the mob's hands. They can't risk to kill me at night, because of my 50/50 chance of killing them instead, so convicting me is pretty much the only way to get me out of the game without taking a huge risk. Look, I am sorry that I've ticked people off, but that has been the only way to get any information in this game so far. The majority of you would have no clue at all what is happening if it weren't for me. I am aware I put my own life on the line when I started prodding people, but I didn't expect you would convict me first before anyone else, even though all the hints and clues we're given point in other directions than myself.

As my first game of Life this is something I didn't quite realize until the people helped me see the error of my ways, so I unvoted the Vigilante, but you've been all over the place lately and I can only assume it's to draw attention where you want it. Vote: Vote: Matthew Right / Sandy
Sandy Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I don't remember you guys having any qualms voting for Mr. Willis and Dr. Wilkerson yesterday, either, and now you're blaming me for exposing them. So aside from being ungrateful, you are being hypocrites as well. Anyway, I bet the mobster are having wiiiiide, victorious grins on their faces right now. You'll see...

So aside from being ungrateful, you are being hypocrites as well. You haven't done anything. There is no reason for us too be grateful. As far as I can see, we have just voted off innoccent townies, and have you defended any? No, so I see no reason for us to thank you, townie or scum. For now, you are my main suspect.

I don't need your thanks, I need you not to vote me out! I have been erratic and brash, I admit, but do you really think I would act like that if I were in the Mafia? Do you honestly think the others would let me act that way? All this talk about "hiding in plain sight" is rubbish in this game of life, since as this voting proves, it's not possible to be a loud-mouth and not be suspected. Seriously, you guys should really open your eyes and see who here is trying to hide something. I've told everything I know and suspect in the public, going as far as to reveal my night effect even though I had no need to. A mobster would not do that - even if they were lying - unless they were desperate, and I've not been desperate in this game until now. Meanwhile, Alberts - Mr. This-is-just-water - seems to get off the hook surprisingly easy. The name of this game is Prohibition Mafia, you'd think it would have some effect on the game, wouldn't you?

hewkii9 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I've had a gut instinct about the Mayor for a while, but ignored it. Terrible idea. Vote: The Mayor/Zapper Brick I know he won't be convicted, but I still want to be heard.
