December 25, 201212 yr not strictly bought by me, more my parents but that doesn't matter :P 9474 The Battle of Helms Deep 9473 The Mines of Moria 9476 The Orc Forge 9470 Shelob Attacks bring my Lego LOTR collection nearer to completion (just need an Uruk Hai Army or two to complete the collection, then Hobbit is the next priority, however it's difficult because they were brought out now... by the time I could afford them, they'd be gone probably, but I'll probably pick up Riddles at some point!
December 26, 201212 yr Christmas was good to me (from the Mrs and mother). I'll let the picture speak for itself. And a fun surprise for the halfling. She's obsessed with doctors. Edited December 26, 201212 yr by TheLegoDr
December 26, 201212 yr Won 30151 Mining Dozer for $4.99 and a couple BL orders to finish off the year.
December 26, 201212 yr Unbelievable haul as always, TheLegoDr. But exactly how many themes do you collect? How do you find room and time for so many different themes?

December 26, 201212 yr 1. Attack on Weathertop 2. Shelob Attacks. Saved up enough to hopefully get Attack of the Wargs or maybe a City set.

December 26, 201212 yr I purchased Barrel Escape today, ordered Mirkwood Spiders from Amazon, and filled up one of my holiday Pick a Brick boxes with light grey 1x4s, bamboo, rubies, small barrels, and blue studs.
December 27, 201212 yr Just back from the Lego Store with: 10218 Pet Shop 10230 Mini Modulars and the seven CMFs I wanted (thanks to the staff for feeling packets with me - it saved a lot of time!): Chicken Suit Guy Policeman Skater Plumber Judge Movie Star Waiter (took us ages to find this one!)
December 28, 201212 yr Unbelievable haul as always, TheLegoDr. But exactly how many themes do you collect? How do you find room and time for so many different themes? I collect way too many themes. I am considering dropping some, but it can be hard. I love LOTR/Hobbit so those are keepers. I love the winter village sets and the modulars, but otherwise city is a no buy for me. As for time, I have very little. I rarely find time to build. I can mostly just look at pieces on display. As for room, we have a huge basement essentially just for LEGO. Time/money are bigger issues than space.
December 29, 201212 yr Uruk Hai Army - at long last, nowhere in Edinburgh had it then out of the blue Toys R Us get it in! (reduced to £26.49 too so an excellent buy)

I've told myself many(many, many....blah)times I wasn't going to get a theme when I initially saw photos, both Alien Conquest & Pharoahs Quest, but, of course I own them all.
December 29, 201212 yr I am so happy with today's purchase! LEGO The Lord of the Rings video game (WII) with exclusive Elrond minifigure!
December 30, 201212 yr Received the Lego 3677 train yesterday and had it build in about an hour. Really nice train to complement my collection, but in terms of playability the 7939 trainset is better I think.
January 1, 201312 yr Got the technic helicopter, 9396, for 59 euros. It was really hard to leave two more of these to the shop I got this from..
