April 29, 201311 yr Those prices look like clearance prices I've seen recently at a Wal-Mart near here. Since I already had all of the sets I wanted from that theme, I didn't bite. Although those are great prices indeed. If I had the spare change, I would rebuy them all for my daughter since she is really into monsters right now. But maybe I'll just give her mine. Recently I bought some series 5 CMF since I found them at a store nearby. I figured I should finish the series since I had most anyway. And since 10 is coming out, probably won't see 5 again for a long time. I picked up: Snowboarder, Zookeeper, Cave woman, clown, fitness instructor, extra mobster, lumberjack. I'm still missing the fisherman. They had zero in their collection.
April 30, 201311 yr I got the Constitution Train Chase - my first Lego train! It's a really nice model, IMO. Should look good around a Winter Village setup, after modding the cars.
April 30, 201311 yr On the weekend I picked up 10229 Winter Village Cottage And my technic order just arrived today 1 x LEGO Technic - Grand Prix Racer (42000) 1 x LEGO Technic - Excavator (42006) 1 x LEGO Technic - Moto Cross Bike (42007) 1 x LEGO Technic - Mini Backhoe Loader (42004) 1 x LEGO Technic - Off-road Racer (42010) 1 x LEGO Technic - Race Car (42011) I'll probably build one of the smaller sets first (I'm eager to check out the new technic pull-back part http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=6024100).

Meijer has them all on sale too, although still a couple bucks more. The Kroger by me has the Werewolf for $11.00, regular price!I can tell you're a lego dad like me. The only reason I got the MF sets is because my daughter likes them (especially the ghosts).

I happened to see it on their website. It was only for LotR I believe. Other themes had other discounts like free shipping on Star Wars over $50, though if you have a Red Card it's free anyway, plus 5% off. I am going to see if they will honor it in store, as they have had nothing around here for sale recently.
