snefroe Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 i got a small rockraiders set today: 4920 it was on sale, so I guess it's ok... Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Where did you find a Rock Raiders set nowadays? Quote
snefroe Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 in a super market... up untill a few weeks back they even had sw sets from 1999... people just don't buy lego at a general store anymore, so they get stuck with older sets... Most of the sets are gone now, I think they only had the brown vulture droid left and that's rather expensive. Quote
Berry Syedow Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Yesterday I bought 4884 Wild Hunters at 33% off. If I hadn't ever caught the thing on sale I probably would've given up and purchased it at full price. I am very pleased with the models provided, especially the lion. There's still quite few of the smaller models I have yet to construct. Still, a wonderful set! *y* Quote
Jipay Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Yesterday I received my wild hunter set from S@H. 50% off, I couldn't resist (first lego set in 6 months *sing* ) Quote

captaintau Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I went to the Lego shop in Milton keynes on Monday and Bought 4896 Roaring Roadster X-D Milton Keynes has a LEGO shop? I wander over there sometimes (great Jujitsu club at Stantonbury Campus). so will have to look it up. Can you explain roughly where it is, please? Quote
natelite Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 At the Bluewater shop they have a small section where you can make your own custom mini-figs, a bit like pick a brick. It's quite limited, but I managed to purchase two skeletons and some nice figs to add to the Exo-Force. holy....that is a great deal indeed. what selection do you have? star wars helmets? any orange standard helmet? pink helmets? *wub* what are the rules? 5 for GBP4? any minifig accessories like weapons etc? As I said, it's quite limited, there were no helmets when I went there, just some quite random hairpieces. There wasn't any minifig accesories either. I just found some nice matching torsos and military type heads to make a little mecenary type team for Exo-Force. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I bought the Super Nova today (Review here) which is just wicked cool. I heartily endorse it. I also went to Ikea and bought some groovy Light Up Coasters for my drinks. Snazzy. Quote
