iamded Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Finally got the Trolll Attackship. Hooray, that's Castle '08 collected for me! Except for maybe a few more doubles... and maybe a triple of some sets... Still no Agents or the new Impulse set though, so I'll keep checking back. ~Peace Quote
baby Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Today i get 2 exo-force sets: 1x 8111 River Dragon 1x Battle Arachnoid Quote
Batbrick Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I'm guessing the batman sets are coming real soon to Tas now as I got the only one out so far today: Robin's Scuba Jet! It's a great set, the Robin sub is perfect and in my opinion needs no modding, and the large penguin sub makes for a great Penguin sub fleet. I modded it shortly after finishing it, and while just a few simple things, it makes it brilliant! Batbrick Away! Quote
adik_sa_lego Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 placed an order for three rolling garage doors for my F1 pit. slowly and steadily creating my future lego F1 circuit :D Quote
fugglewyg Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 stopped at Tru on the way home to get the New Lego Indy game for our xbox360 and spotted they had 7628 Peril in Peru, on the shelves so had to get one of them. Quote
iamded Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Hooray, that's Castle '08 collected for me! Except for maybe a few more doubles...~Peace I stand by my statement. I got another of each Dwarf Mine Defender and Troll Assault Wagon today, clearing out the last of my Christmas money. Until I get the $68.00 I'm owed back, that is. I'm guessing the batman sets are coming real soon to Tas now as I got the only one out so far today: Robin's Scuba Jet! Yes, Harley's Hammer Truck is in the Toyworld where I live, with the rest of the sets scheduled to arrive this month. So they'll most likely arrive this month in Aussie too. I was tempted to pick up Harley's truck, but my love for Castle is too strong... Also, the Agents sets are set to arrive in stores in NZ (well, Toyworld anyway) in September, so that gives me time to save up again! ~Peace Quote
KimT Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I went looking for the last Castle set that I need to complete my collection so far. I ended up finding the Batmobile (UCS?). It was the last one in the store and they really wanted to get rid of it, so I paid some 40 USD for it. Great parts set - a shame it's mostly black KimT I also got a sandmill for my daughter, but I guess that doesn't count. Quote
The Cobra Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 8158 & 8159. Both priced 19.99 €uros (as they should), but each of them had €.3 off. Quote

I really hope the Harley Truck comes out this week. Are you going to pick up the Mr.Freeze or Penguin set? They are cheaper afterall And today I placed a massive order of dk bley slopes for my Journey to the Center of the Earth series. Yeah, I really need to do that, order more dark bley slopes. Anyway, my sister returned from the Gold Coast at Queensland yesterday and gave me a present: the 2007 Container Stacker! I wanted this set last year but couldn't get it, and though I'm not huge on city anymore, this has some great pieces in green, and some nice wheels. Batbrick Away! Quote
fugglewyg Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Had 3 bricklink orders turn up today. Decided to try it out as a more selective way of buying instead of buying bulk lots off ebay when i end up with loads of bricks i probabaly won't use and just a few that i was really after. Although i guess you can never have too many bricks can you Quote
simonwillems Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 On saturday I bought the 4896 Roaring Roadsters on clearance for 27 euros (half price), which I considered a great deal for almost a thousand shiny parts making up a beautiful model! Quote
Batbrick Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I went to Devonport today and hoped to see if there were any new Batman sets there. To my surprise the Toyworld there had many old sets, and I bought the Spiderman: Doctor Octopus' dock set and the adventurers Tygurah's roar! Both are fantastic and I will review them both soon! Batbrick Away! Quote
Zarkan Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Kopaka Nuva. HOWEVER, I can't open it until I mow the lawn tomorow, as I don't have quite enough money yet. Quote

Batbrick Away! I thought for a moment, you are refering to Auckland, Devon Port. Great, I will be looking to your reviews. I am particually fond of reading old sets reviews. I think it will be great to look back at these beautiful memories. After all, LEGO is never too young even for adults. Quote
Zarkan Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Well, today an old friend dropped by and gave me a extremely late birthday present: a lot of used Bionicles. In it were a few sets I already had, plus a Korahk and Tahu, Lewa, and Kopaka Nuva. Kopaka was missing his mask and had the wrong shield, there were no cans, and some of the instructions were gone, but it was still a great gift. Oh, wait, I didn't buy this did I? Quote
