Matn Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Friday I got the 5613 Fireman Impulse set from my mother. So I got four Impulses from my parents and my mom has let me know that she still has two to give me (which says I will get them all from them, eventually). Quote
rriggs Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Last set I got was the XXL Mobile Crane which was on special in Auchun in Boulogne. Great set with lots of detail just a shame it's a bit big to drive around my Legoland Town!! Cheers Rog Quote
JimBee Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 agents Misson two. love it, the crocs are awesome, and the vegetation is handy. very good playability and the bike is very clever! Quote
Dragonator Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 I just received two classic space sets, set 497, and set 6884. The boxes are really damaged, and some of the parts are a bit chewed/need a good clean, but I got them for a great price, so I think it was worth it. I'm also going to need to replace the TV aerial, as most of the spikes have snapped off. That will be expensive, looking at Bricklink prices... Oh well! Quote
VBBN Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 5 iron drones. ($7.50) Striking Venom($50.00) 30 bionicle weapons assorted. 15 Bionicle masks assorted colors and types. 20 zamor spheres. Quote
The Kid Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Bought 14 Weapons and 2 Grenade Packs from BrickArms (the minifigforlife UK version). £9.00 total. Just waiting on the Royal Mail now. TK Quote
WhiteFang Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 For the past week plus or so, I had bought quite a lot of MISB sets in different stores, and cost me a bomb. Piranha Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Well a visit to a TRU (My 1st in about 6 months) made me weep tears of joy They had all the new stuff; Coast Guard, Agents, Batman and Castle!!!! I picked up some small sets since I'm I was a bit low on cash - The Knight Castle Impulse - Batman's Buggy:Escape of Mr Freeze - Jungle Duel The Batman set is really pretty funny and I love the new batman fig, perhaps a review in the future Quote
simonwillems Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Some days ago I bought set 6542 off my favourite Dutch digital marketplace, complete with instructions in like new condition (extraordinary for a set from 1991!) for just 75 euros. Luckily I had found an unused stickersheet of this set a year earlier (bought it for three euros on the same digital marketplace) so I now have the set with all stickers! It is standing on my desk right now and by looking at it I truely believe it is one of the best Legosets ever released.... Quote
Brainbox Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Picked up an Imperial Dropship the other day. Strangely, these are my first Stormies. I don't know why I've never had any, I just haven't. Anyway, the dropship isn't that bad. It's by no means fantastic, but it could be worse. Still, the figures are . Quote
Dragonator Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I just received 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress which I purchased on TradeMe. Finally, I have some printed Dragon-style castle pieces! If I get the time, I'll do a review, as anything about dragons is worth reviewing. I love the printed baseplate in this set, I wish the new ones were done this way still rather than with stickers. Now I need to go build the thing! Quote
Quarryman Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Had to pay something with cash(!) today (in general I try to avoid cash as much as possible, prefer to use various electronic payment methods ), and had to get some change, so I picked up another (my fourth I think) 7090. Quote
Vaders_son Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Today my amazon order arrived [3 days after I ordered ]! 1 Imperial Landing Craft and 5 Rebel Scout Speeders!! My first wave of the new rebel soldiers and I think they're just Cool helmets all the way amazon.de has some sale prizes and the BPs were 44% off and the ILC some 15€ so I saved about 50€ on this what I think is a great deal Quote
Matn Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 (edited) So, I was standing in the store and I was about to take the Dwarves' Mine Defender when my mom comes to me and she says she will buy that. She also took the Troll Assault Wagon and the Troll Battle Wheel for me. I can have it because I have good points at school and my sister goes on camp and I don't (so we both get something), and because I do a lot of house chords. I was pretty shocked, in a good way. And now I feel spoiled Hurray! Edited June 28, 2008 by Matn Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Bought 7733 Truck & Forklift today! First Lego set I've bought in quite a while, mostly due to brokeness. A very nice little set! Just gotta save up now for 10185 Green Grocer. Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Turaga dume and takadox my Nivawk was missing peices... Takadox has yet to arrive Quote
Mofo Jones Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I picked up 7665 republic cruiser about a week ago - just haven't had time to come post it. Quote
Christine Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 (edited) Today I bought set 8111 Exoforce River Dragon (a nice little build) and 7709 Sentai Fortress (for a massive 10 pounds!) A good day of lego :) Edited June 29, 2008 by Christine Quote
Trexxen Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Bought the Mobile Command Center today; it was as I had expected an AMAZING set. Highly reccommended. Also placing a decent sized bricklink order; including Sentai Fortress - I've been wanting that set for forever ~Trexxen Quote
Hewman Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) Just ordered the 10188 Death Star from shop at home at a relative bargain of $400 AU, surely this is a mistake like the green grocer set going for $150 (same as US $ price) and then a few days later being adjusted to $250 AU. It's already the number one Australian seller so I'd recommend to Aussies to get in now, because it just isn't consistent that we're paying less than the US for a set. Shipping was not quite as bad as I thought it would be $45. Edit: This price looks like it is here to stay going on the NZ price of $430 NZ, just $327 US!! Edited June 29, 2008 by hewman Quote
Matn Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 So the Aussies and the people from New Zealand are getting an advantage (for one time )?! I just got another 5613 (always nice) and a 5616. Quote
Wily Manc Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Troll Assault Wagon for me and Duplo Cranky The Crane for my daughter Next up: Drawves' Mine Defender for me and Salty The Dockyard Diesel for she. Quote
WhiteFang Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 It is standing on my desk right now and by looking at it I truely believe it is one of the best Legosets ever released.... That's is a very beautiful harbour. Way much better than the current harbour! I just received 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress which I purchased on TradeMe. Finally, I have some printed Dragon-style castle pieces! If I get the time, I'll do a review, as anything about dragons is worth reviewing. I love the printed baseplate in this set, I wish the new ones were done this way still rather than with stickers. Now I need to go build the thing! Great buy, my friend! I will be looking forward to that review of yours! It shall be one of the fortress in Dragon Masters Kingdom, I supposed. I wished I had this Fortress too. Quote
Alice Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I bought a pink bucket finally!!! Haven't opened it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Quote
