Went to town to get my hair cut and discovered a sale of Tie-Crawlers :sweet:

Bought one for 30€ only

I don't really like the set (well haven't build it) and the price of 65,99€ is way too steep, but at 30€ I couldn't resist

I am so excited! Today I finally received a very special set I purchased a few days ago, the 6075 Classic Yellow Castle! What a beauty!

This is the re-release of the 375 castle from 1978 for those of you who don't know, and came out in 1981.

The instruction booklet is in great condition, as is the box. All the figures are present with pretty good stickers bar one, the blue cavalry man. That will cost me a bit to replace him, looking at Bricklink prices.

I am about to start building it, so I don't know for certain, but it appears complete, and even came with a spare visor in red, white and black. The stickers on the main castle appear to be fin other than the shield stickers on the walls which are a bit tatty.

The pieces all seem to be in pretty goo condition, which I am very pleased about. In total, the set cost me $100NZD (+$22 in shipping). Definitely not to bad. Once the added price of a replacement minifig is added, it is still cheaper than almost all those listed on Bricklink, and it seems to be in nice condition too.

A definite good buy for me, I am very happy indeed! :sweet:

What are you doing Ragnir! Those new people aren't for eating!

My bad, they looked tasty. :sceptic:

LEGO Harry Potter 4766 and LEGO Harry Potter 4755. They came in this morning and I have just finished them building, although the Graveyard misses a few pieces: it's one of the best sets I have.

From S@H, an 8636 Deep Sea Quest and a few 8637s Volcano Bases, just to make a giant supervolcano for Dr Inferno. Yays! Also the 50th anniversary book since I've been intending to pick it up.

I just bought the Troll Warship at the Big W sale for $68 Aus which compared to Aus S@H $99 is a major bargain (32% in my books especially for a new set is nuts!) Its a great looking set with 9 figures and a dragon.

I thought about the dwarven mine defender and passed as i was also looking for the Tower Assault and it looks like neither of the two Big W's got any in, $36 instead of 50 would have been good :hmpf_bad:

Right, today I went out and bought a couple of things, firstly the 8159 Speed Racer set with Taejo and Racer X, mainly because they are two nice cars with the new windscreen that I don't have ryet, and also for that wonderful torso with the dragon pattern on it.

Next, I saw some of the new housebuilding sets, so I got one each of sets 6117 (doors and windows) and 6119 (red roof tiles). I'm sure they will be useful.

Lastly, I bought the smallest Coast Guard set, as I noticed Toyworld now had some in. Set 7736 is a nice little buggy, reminiscent of the old small vehicles. I just grabbed it on the way to the counter for no particular reason.

Once I got home, I finally got in my BrickForge order, now that they have srted some shipping options for New Zealand. I can't wait for the new parts to arrive.

Tomorrow I'm heading out to K-Mart as they have the AT-AT in now, and I'm going to take advantage of their sale. I just hope they haven't sold out... :look:

Overall, an expensive weekend!

I just received 6765 - Gold City Junction and I love it. The banker and stagecoach driver are great, the two little buildings look fantastic and have plenty of details and I adore the exploding bank/stagecoach features. Most of the pieces are useful too, and I can never get enough of those tan baseplates. :sweet:

I'm a very happy Pie today. :cry_happy:

Finally got my first indy minifig. That is, I found the 7620 indy set, which I believe is the only one I'll get. I love the way they did the trucks and vehicles but for a lack of space and money, I'll stick to that one.

That fedora is fantastic.

Oh and I found Makuta Icarax, too. Rather good one, once I modified his right arm with a proper one and gave him better hands which actually look like hands. But a really nice piece nonetheless.

Right, I spent far to much over the weekend, and now I need to find some more money to save up for the new SW sets and all the other great ones coming out later in the year.

I went out to K-Mart and found my beloved AT-AT. In the end, I bought not one, but two! Talk about over spending. They were 20% off however, so not all was lost.

I also bought another Dwarves Mine, as that is such an awesome set!

Now I need to build them, and find the space to display them... :look:

Eyes are bigger than your mouth I see

Well not quite today but less than 24 hours ago I finally found Vamprah  Fairly good set, I switch some pieces around so his legs were bigger. Pros are that he is on all fours (the only good type of bionicle  ), lovely colour scheme!, mask looks awsome, I great buy!

Cons, His had shakes from side to side which is quite annoying :sceptic: , the thing that is supposed to shoot dosnt shoot very well like most Lego shooters :hmpf: and sometimes he isnt very stable  but besides those monor cons it a great buy, also I got him at the BIG W sale for $9  hmm might do a review on her...
