I am keeping myself occupied, as you may have noticed :laugh:

Good to see BBQ Impulse arrived; funny that it didn't come before  Let's hope some more good stuff arrives soon; apart from Pirates, pretty much all of the Oz catalogue stuff is in stores now which means something must be arriving around June... then July sales...

Well now, I recently recieved my Market Street, which looks great with the other two buildings. Finally, it is mine!

I also just went and bought 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty, one of my first 2009 set purchases, as well as two 626 32x32 stud green baseplate's.

That's all for now. :sweet:

I recently pick-up 2 clone battle packs, and a two small street clean-up sets. Along with that I also purchased 2 Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chases for half off on S@H before they went out of stock along with some Doc and Patient impulses that were half off. Unfortunately I didn't plan on keeping them and all the figs are for sale in my BrickLink store.

Finally took the plunge and bought 6242 and 6243 yesterday.

Here's a pic of them with some of my older sets.

And that new shark is hugely 'monstrous'.

I thought you were only interested in Star Wars? Now, you have gotten yourself some Classic Pirates along with the current sets too. :classic:

Don't laugh, but I just bought this:

7242-0000-xx-12-1.jpg

It's the 2005 7242 Street Sweeper.

After all the building activities in the new town, the people now want clean streets.

It's actually more fun than I expected. Very unusal set. Normally you get a car, truck, police, etc. This is different.

The brush thing articulates in all directions, and the sucker can also be positioned very accurately.

I also love the facial expression of the sweeperman; I bet he'd rather be in the pub with a cold pint right now.

Here a mugshot of the poor guy: 3626bpx162.1176690957.jpg

It arrived today :cry_happy: My third Pirates set tho it's one from the older series. Bought it in this state for €32 including shipping, without its original box tho..

#6296 Shipwreck Island, I believe it was a good buy.

The Stormtrooper BP. Initially, I wasn't interested in this set at all because it's so badly designed and I usually only collect PT sets. However, I have come to realize that no Lego SW collection should be without this set, no matter how much one prefers the PT, so I bought it from TRU, the only place I know that still sells it, before it is discontinued. I'm still not sure if it was worth it to pay the marked-up TRU price of $14.13 (including tax) for this set, but I am glad that I own it now. The stormies in this set, especially the Shadow trooper, look very good, much better than the old ones.
