Dragonator Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Well now, I recently recieved my Market Street, which looks great with the other two buildings. Finally, it is mine! I also just went and bought 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty, one of my first 2009 set purchases, as well as two 626 32x32 stud green baseplate's. That's all for now. Quote

Along with that I also purchased 2 Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chases for half off on S@H before they went out of stock along with some Doc and Patient impulses that were half off. Unfortunately I didn't plan on keeping them and all the figs are for sale in my BrickLink store. Quote

LoL, am still interested in Star Wars. But I couldn't resist passing up on the larger sets of the castle, pirates, and city themes. Quote
Christian Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 MISB ? Are you going to keep it that way? Jealousy On !CopMike I did consider that for a short while, but what good is boxed Lego? Now its standing build in my room, but Im keeping the box. Quote
UserNameInvalid Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Don't laugh, but I just bought this: It's the 2005 7242 Street Sweeper. After all the building activities in the new town, the people now want clean streets. It's actually more fun than I expected. Very unusal set. Normally you get a car, truck, police, etc. This is different. The brush thing articulates in all directions, and the sucker can also be positioned very accurately. I also love the facial expression of the sweeperman; I bet he'd rather be in the pub with a cold pint right now. Here a mugshot of the poor guy: Quote

Perterz Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 It arrived today My third Pirates set tho it's one from the older series. Bought it in this state for €32 including shipping, without its original box tho.. #6296 Shipwreck Island, I believe it was a good buy. Cheers Quote
Ricecracker Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I got my first online Pique Le Brique order today! All the way from Denmark! Quote
Oky Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 The Stormtrooper BP. Initially, I wasn't interested in this set at all because it's so badly designed and I usually only collect PT sets. However, I have come to realize that no Lego SW collection should be without this set, no matter how much one prefers the PT, so I bought it from TRU, the only place I know that still sells it, before it is discontinued. I'm still not sure if it was worth it to pay the marked-up TRU price of $14.13 (including tax) for this set, but I am glad that I own it now. The stormies in this set, especially the Shadow trooper, look very good, much better than the old ones. Quote
