Technically not Lego, but I bought three more boxes for storage and sorting, two middle sized with 19 smallish compartments, and 1 big size with 8 large compartments. The compartments are removable and the best solution I have found in NZ for sorting my pieces, as those large upright boxes with the many drawers aren't available here. These boxes are called Professional Organisers, and can be picked up from most hardware stores for about 20NZD. :classic:

Wow, nice!

I might have to ask my friends for their LEGO stuff when they get older; they have great parts, like chrome gold grilles and discs, and the Clone Turbo Tank!

I have two TTs. One from a friend and the other I got for Xmas. I might have three if my other friend stops liking LEGO.... :cry_happy:

The guy who gave me that stuff gave me loads before. Probably enough to fill a 4x4x4ft box. Half of it was Star Wars! :pirate:

I bought some bricks from a French bricklink store:

[New] Black Bar 4L Lightsaber Blade (x4)

[New] Dark Gray Brick 1 x 2 (x6)

[New] Dark Gray Brick, Arch 1 x 4 (x1)

[New] Dark Gray Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Handle (x1)

[New] Dark Gray Dish 2 x 2 Inverted (x1)

[New] Dark Gray Plate 1 x 1 (x12)

[New] Dark Gray Tile 1 x 4 (x4)

[New] Light Bluish Gray Plate 1 x 3 (x2)

[New] Yellow Hinge, Plate 1 x 6 with 2 and 3 Fingers On Ends (x3)

Not so many bricks, but I was especially after the yellow hinge plate 1x6. And I still had a coupon to redeem. The coupon would've expired in August. Since I wanted the hinge plates so much, I thought it was a good time to shop and use the coupon.

Yesterday I picked up the Castle Dwarves Mine Defender. The siege engine isn't that great, although it's better than KK2 - but I'm glad to finally have a couple trolls and a dwarf in my collection.

As today is the last da of the Queen's Birthday Weekend Sales, I thought I might as well take advantage of that fact. Therefore I went out and bought the following sets at 20% off.

Pirates:

- 6240 Kraken Attackin'

- 6241 Loot Island

- 6242 Soldiers' Fort

Star Wars:

- 7749 Echo Base

- 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid

- 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter

- 8039 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser

I also bought two other sets on Saturday which were:

- 8036 Separatist Shuttle

- 7749 Echo Base

All in all, that has left a rather sore hole in my wallet. Ah well, it was worth it. I just hope I have enough left over to get all the pieces I need for my other project, we'll see how it goes...
