A bunch of pieces (mainly light gray and blue) to make my classic space version of the A-wing for the competition here, which unless the other parts are in the mail today I'll never complete by the closing date, but I'll put some pics up here when it is eventually done.

Not exactly bought, but last night at Brikkelauget's (the Norwegian LUG) general assembly I won the 7199 Temple of Doom in our Build-in-bag competition :sweet:

(We built the 8666 Tuner X, and some of us even took the extra step of applying the stickers (inside the bag, of course) though that wasn't a part of the competition)

(one of the two sets Matija applied the stickers to, mine looks a bit less perfect)

I have expanded my city today with the City Corner, Sports car and camper :classic:

Total jealousy. I wish these things would start showing up in stores around Utah.

How did you apply the stickers in the bag without opening it?

Including parapink shutters, parapink lampposts, parapink latticed windows. YAY!

Score!

So I went to CrackLink...BrickLink for those of you that have not yet ordered...and had to purchase a few extra dragon wing plumes for my extras. WOW! White is expensive!

Picked up a few more Boba Fett magnet sets at my local LEGO store.

Ebay auctions have been good to me. Won a few last night and a few more today. The castle armies are growing!

I'm visiting Vienna and I got the two SP3 impulses and some road plates a few days ago. Wasn't the best store, didn't find anything new except the two SP3 impulses. Perhaps I'll have better luck some other day.

Went to a carboot sale yesterday.

The 'bootloot' was a few old small sets, oldest was from 1993.

Not very special sets but always fun to get Lego for a good price -most expensive one was £1-.

Ofcourse I've spent most of the evening cleaning it.

Now off to another carbootsale!

The early bird catcheth the worm.

I need to go to more car boot sales. :sweet:

I got a few parts from a friend yesterday. They included Anakin CW, some BD parts and guns. All for free!

What sets did you get UserNameInvalid? Any SW parts you don't want?

Greetings,

JD

I bought the 4996 Beach House today. Suprisingly, my wife decided to come into the room to build with me, which pleased me to no end. I was hoping she'd want to build this set since she recently expressed interest in lego buildings. She seemed to have fun building the main model (while I found the parts for her).

After getting an unexpected gift card, I bought a total of four sets today (only one of which was on my wishlist, but the store didn't have any of the new Castle, Agents or IJ sets I'm looking forward to, unfortunately).

I bought two Power Miner sets, 8956 Stone Chopper and 8958 Granite Grinder.

Now I have a trio of rock monsters (red, blue and green) which I nicknamed Huey, Dewey and Louie, for obvious reasons.

I also bought two City sets, 7639 Camper that I've anticipated for the sweet female minifig, and much to my own surprise, 7641 City Corner as well, which turned out to be a great purchase.

So I'm very satisfied now! With my birthday coming up this wednesday, I'll hopefully get some b-day money from my relatives that I can go splurge in Ebay, making me even more satisfied!

OMG OMG OMG!

I finally bought the 10193 Medieval Market Village from Ebay, and for pretty much same price that Lego.com sells it. It should be in my grasp next week. I'm so happy!

Yey! I also finally bought the Medieval Market Village this week. Those cows are great!

Also 2x Snake's Speeder, some Star Wars magnets, and the Echo Base set, which mysteriously disappeared from my cart and then reappeared AFTER I discovered that I'd paid for it. Odd. But never mind.

Anyone noticed that the colours they use for the new SW magnets are different from the regular Lego colours? That Imperial Guard is practically maroon.
