Fumoffu Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Got myself 4 of these today: This torso reminds me of the torso from Macross. Not sure what I'm going to do with it for now but I suspect a custom squad of elite stormtroopers or clone troopers. Quote

Etzel Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I just placed a BrickLink order including these interesting pieces: Duplo Wear Cloth Bear Skin with Neck Opening Minifig, Head with Werewolf Pattern Panel, Decorated 1 x 2 x 2 with X-Ray Skeleton Legs / Machinery Pattern Now I just need to find some way to use these in a MOC (which shouldn't be so hard)! Oky Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) I made use of the Bricktober sale at TRU and got myself Granite Grinder, Sep Shuttle, and Rep Attack Shuttle - all at 15% off. Those were the only sets that I wanted and which didn't have overly inflated prices. However, I think I will return the Grinder because I still ended up paying more for it than I would if I bought it at the Lego store. It's just a few cents, but who knows, maybe a better sale will come around for this one. What sucks is that I can't allow myself to open them until I know for sure that these wont be the 30% discounted items of the second, third, or fourth week of bricktober. ILikePi Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 (edited) I just got back from the LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary event (read all about it here), and here's what I got: Separatist Shuttle ($30 USD) chrome silver stormtrooper magnet ($10 USD) chrome gold minifigure keychain ($5 USD) firefighter impulse set ($3.50 USD) policeman impulse set ($3.50 USD) I was very surprised when I saw the chrome gold minifig keychains. There were over 20 on the keychain rack (someone took like 15 out after I looked at it the first time ), and they are the exact same ones that were given away with a $75 purchase not too long ago. Now all I need is a chrome gold C-3PO to finish my chrome minifig collection! Edited October 12, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
