I went to Legoland Windsor and bought a load of bricks from the pick a brick section for a MOC I'm planning.

They have changed the pick a brick at Windsor last year you chose a cup and filled it for a fixed price this year you fill a bag and you are charged on its weight now the catch they only have scales at the checkout so you dont know how much you have bought until you pay for it X-O

I would guess if you filled a bag it would cost well over

hehe i raided the nearby sears stores which were selling the battle wagon 8874 and the seige tower 8875 at $6 each. i got like 9 boxes. got a couple of droid fighter 7252 at $8 each on the side too...cheap as they are now sold out in S@H, so the price is already inflated.

when i got up this morning, I just felt I had to buy something 'Lego-ish' today X-D

the intention was to buy the big airplane, but along the way, I remembered I needed yellow plates; so i went to look for a set with yellow plates and... didn't find any! >:-( :'-( *sing*

so i bought 2 v-wings instead... i'll build one... for two minutes, then both will be scrapped and go to the parts collection...

so i went to my local second hand shop to see if they had any set with yellow plates, they did, this one, but i didn't go for it after all... then i bought 6790/6791 and 6649

One of the few old SW sets that is sorely missing from my colelction...

if it wasn't for 9 euros i'd never have bought this..; thank god the shopkeeper is a moron and doesn't seem to know it should be more like 90 euro... oh well...
