My parents would never let me meet up with strangers to buy things from them. :hmpf_bad:

Anyways, will we be seeing a review soon? :sweet:

EDIT: According to BrickLink, 4728 with a box is about $60 USD! :oh:

-SNIP-

Yes, my parents drive me. I can get a sense of how the people are by email. I've avoided deals that seem too good to be true because of the people I have to deal with. Unfortunately, I will most likely not review this set, but if Brickshelf gets up soon and I can complete my

3450

review, than I will do this over the holidays. I actually bought this for reselling purposes, so I do know what it's worth. However, if I don't get to adding this to my store soon, than I will do a review.

I picked up 30008 Snowman and 30009 Christmas Tree (the Creator polybags) for $3.49 USD at Toys 'R' Us today.

How is 30008? It was something I was looking at.

Sorry, for getting off topic.

Okay, hopefully you won't have that much extra time to put it on your store.

It's pretty good! You get 6 new white 1 x 1 bricks with a stud on one side, and some useful pieces like the lifting ring. You also get white and red cheese slopes.

Unfortunately the back is completely flat, but I think that the front details make up for that.

I won't be able to make a review of it until I become a teacher, and I can sense that that's going to take quite a while.

Just back from Munich and the Lego store at Reim Arcaden had large bags of loose bricks for €15.99. Also there were minifig bags for €4.99 which when I returned home I discovered contained 15 torsos and heads plus lots of legs, tools, utensils, hats etc. The store also was giving out the xmas PAB boxes for every €75 spent (fillable after xmas)

My Ultimate Black Friday plan worked out! I got a Death Star, three Winter Toy Shops, and a Republic Attack Shuttle, but only 10% off. I also got to meet ILikePi at the store.

Let the building commence!

It was nice to meet you Inky! Have fun with your Death Star (dang it was heavy )!

I purchased one Winter Toy Shop and one The Battle of Endor (my largest purchase to date!). :sweet:

I also got a free PAB box and about 150 points on my new VIP card (now I have 343)!

Unfortunately I also only got 10% off. I think that the scratch cards were rigged.

I already built everything in The Battle of Endor except for the bunker.

The AT-ST is much better, sturdier, and larger than I thought! It uses at least 300 pieces, and clicking the sides into place is very satisfying.

The minifigs are fantastic, especially the Rebel commandos and the Ewoks!

Sorry about the bad lighting and the carpet on the sides.

Only 10% for me as well. :hmpf_bad: I wouldn't be so disappointed if I wouldn't always get that kind of discount anyway due to my Disneyland annual pass, but oh well. I still got a bunch of sets: Solar Sailer, Smach'N'Grab, Magma Mech, Typhoon Sub, and Spongebob Neighbors magnet set. Plus a free PAB box.

Goodness, this dragon is most definitely jealous right now. A sealed bag of cypress trees, unbelievable. I bet they smell new too... no chew marks, no discolouration...

I recently bought two Indy sets at 50% off, the Fighter Plane Attack, which completes my Indy collection, and a second copy of the Temple of the Crystal Skull, which is a very nice set for parts alone at that price. I also bought the 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber set and the 8015 Assassin Droids Battle Pack, both at 16% off. Now I'm on the lookout for a nicely-priced Home-One set. :classic:

Where was the temple 50% off?

Anyho, I Scavanged 8 of my MISB Stormtrooper BP's for the Stormies.... 24 stormies :sweet:

Me too. I did a little holiday shopping. My brother will be very happy. :sweet: I also got 8060 Typhoon Turbo Sub and 8058 Guardian of the Deep for myself. The Atlantians are sweet. :sweet:

...and that 10 dollar pirate set that has the weird colored bricks.

 What weird coloured bricks? Do you mean the dark red octopus in 6240 Kraken Attackin'?

I finally got around to purchasing a 10178 Motorized AT-AT figuring it's a set that won't be around much longer. I'm pretty interested to see how well it actually walks and it was the last set I needed to round off my Hoth collection, at least until the battle packs are released.

Today I won an auction on eBay. It's set 10025, a Santa Fe waggon. The set is brand new, MISB. I got it for 68 euro. That's cheap compared to the prices for which it is offered on bricklink.
