Matn Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 (edited) Four Bricklinks order with loads of pieces for a creation/part of my Hogwarts project that sits here since August (!) and some random and special pieces to build some characters and statues. I hope to have them in my mailbox next week. I've never ordered so much, four at once, on Bricklink. The orders almost used all the money I got for New Year and Christmas. But well, I really need to finish it. It was originally a creation for the train contest here! Edited January 8, 2010 by Matn Quote

bamaker Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Today I bought my first set of 2010, the 7739 Coast Guard Patrol Boat & Tower for only $15.00! I was at Wal-Mart looking for a Luke's Landspeeder (no luck) and I found the Patrol Boat sitting there all by its lonesome, so I just had to take it home with me. Quote

lightningtiger Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Got lucky today, found and purchased a 7655 battle pack from a local Kmart for $ 3 (yep 3 bucks) - SCORE ! -Ben (Ben 10 Alien Force) Quote
L-space Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Finally 8083 and 8084 arrived so I picked up the first sets. More to follow..... Quote
Matn Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 7682 Shanghai Chase! I wasn't going to buy it, but for 21 euro I had to buy it. Especially for the awesome minifigures, the cars look alright. I'll build it later. There's a big store (from a toy store chain: Fun) going away in our city because there would be too much of those kind of stores in our area. They have put a -30% tag on everything! Of course, a lot of LEGO was presumably taken to one of the other stores, but there were still some nice sets. All the Bionicle, some Technic, a lot of Star Wars, all the Pirates, a couple of Indiana Jones, Space Police, one Agents set and only a couple of City sets (the big garage, but unfortunately none of the Farm sets). I think I've made up my mind, from now on I will only buy sets when they look nice, have nice parts and if they're on clearance. Or if they carry the name Harry Potter on it. Other than that, I'll buy parts for MOCs. Quote
Dennimator Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 About 4000 pieces from BL for a project I´m working on... Quote
vexorian Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 8911. Brother and I needed some of Jaller's parts for MoCs and today we were lucky to actually find him on a store at a 10% disccount sale, so there we go... Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I ordered a 6212 X-wing from shop at home. I'm surprised at how that set managed to come and go so much over the last 4 years, and that I'm just now getting around to buying it. -'Skintas Quote
JCC1004 Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Got lucky today, found and purchased a 7655 battle pack from a local Kmart for $ 3 (yep 3 bucks) They must have been going through old stock, or it could have slid under something and they just found it. I trade a Rebel Mechanic for a Kit Fisto. Apparently my brother would rather have a mechanic over two Kits. I also order another Rebel Fleet Trooper BP. Quote
